If it says the "3rd Place" then they need to keep it as that.

Will be totally disgusted if they do this so they can put her through. She was not all that good and was totally unprofessional and there are other contestants that should be there before her.

I sincerely hope she doesn't, for her sake. She clearly isn't emotionally strong enough to deal with the pressure of performing on live TV.

Fair enough point as she does need a lot of help regarding her lack of confidence and self belief, but i am sure there will be people there that know that.

You need sensitivity to be a great singer and that may include being very anxious. I think Alice has potential to be very good but she needs to get past the nerves and concentrate on the performance. Hopefully someone can help her with that.

This. She doesn't deserve the wildcard, and if the rule is 3rd place' then they shouldn't change it but knowing Cowell he probably will just like the time, Cher and Mary (X Factor) was meant to be down to the public but changed to judges vote when they found out Mary got more votes.

Knowing Cowell he might try to change the rules to get her in. Not because she was any good and deserves it, but he will be trying to get at "The Voice".

Though I am not too sure at the moment if he will, as he realises that the majority of the public don't really care for her

Most people take a shine to those who are good..but dont know they are good...
most people are put off by those who think they are good but in fact are not...
and even worse are those who "pretend" they dont think they are good and in fact are mediocre..but secretly think they are much better than they actually are (watching these people is a little like watching the staged videos on youve been framed!!!)

You also need to be able to deal with your anxiety, to the point where the audience have no idea how scared you are and it doesn't affect your performance. You also need to develop a thick skin to deal with the rejection that's part and parcel of being in the music industry. It's a tough industry and there's no place in it for people who melt down at the first hint of criticism.

There's plenty of time for her, and she already has a good fan base. People rubbished Misha B on X factor, and she has gone on to do really well. It all takes time.

I don't disagree with you, especially the BIB. The performance wasn't terrible and she needed to bluff her way through it if she was nervous. But she kind of went to pieces, more afterwards than during.

Personally I couldn't understand why the judges all made such a fuss after her 1st audition. I thought she was ok but couldn't see or hear what they were and as for last night I couldn't understand half the words she was singing and wasn't impressed with the way she started crying it did seem fake even if it wasn't

A lot of people on this thread seem to be missing the point. It isn't just a case of coping with fame; no other BGT contestant this year has had to suffer the relentless public sniping that this poor girl has had to endure. And what was her crime? It was shedding a few tears after receiving such a positive reception after being rejected on a rival show (surely she must be fake). This is a crazy world we live in. No-wonder the pressure got to her last night. I very much doubt a man or a less attractive woman would have been subjected to the same amount of scrutiny and criticism. If the cynics wanted to sabotage her chances of stardom, it seems they've achieved their goal. I hope they're proud of themselves (not).

Well in my case, I have ears, and her semi was flat and it was if she could not be bothered to sing, as for her going from a bubbly singer on the voice to a nervous wreck on BGT, I don't get it.

She also did a interview with the Sun, and had a very positive picture session, then would you believe it, back to a 'little girl lost act' on the semi, not even coming out with the other's in the green room.

She tried playing a game to win votes, and it failed.

If you want to be a Star you have to develop a thick skin. The music industry is tough. It's no place for people who fall apart at the first hint of criticism. Alice has potential, but appears to have no confidence in her own abilites. If she doesn't, why should anyone else?

I could understand if she really was "Wonderful" and it was a cruel twist of fate that she didn't get through.

The truth of the matter is that she was very average and very unprofessional in the way she behaved afterwards.

I am sure the majority of acts were nervous on the night, but the rest of them managed to get through their act and then behaved with dignity when they were rejected.

Unfortunelty Alice could not even managed to do this!!

And then locking her self away back stage during the voting. When everyone else was there and must have been nervous. Then being supported as she came on stage for the vote, and supported by the other losers as she went off. Come on being nervous is one thing, but this was way over the top

The young boys behaved with great dignity and clapped for everyone as they went through showing great maturity .
