Fab act ruined for me by the mic on the guitarist which from the sound of it was purchased from bankrupt Tandy stock. Should have had a headset mic like in the west end in the hair then would not of sounded so damn breathy. Start was badly mixed too.

Totally agree. That headset mic was like something from the early 90's. Badly mic'ed and mixed.

I loved them Even more so second time around. Shame they didn't get through but exposure is good I guess.

One of the better acts and certainly better than the cringe-worthy Youth Creation. Should have perhaps been in top three.

Glad it wasn't just me. Considering the budget they could use from the money they make there is no excuse. He should either have stayed by a mic stand or got a better mic for his head.

No, not just you DF, I thought the same about the mic and the start of their act being terrible. Shame really as it got better after that.

Nevertheless, it was still a good performance and I hope this isn't the last we hear of them.

J-unity? I'm guessing they wanted Union J but realised the name was already taken?
