Not a bad standard

The show basically starts tomorrow.

That's a proper lineup there with a few cracking people in there (Alice, Martin and Marielle, Jack). Meat Diva are a train wreck but at least a decent laugh, unlike tonight's attempts at a train wreck. Jack and Cormac, we'll see. MD, decent dance act, need more creativity to stand any chance though. McKnasty, there because of his brother. Modupe, very good audition, let's see what she does. Jack, genuinely funny. Martin and Marielle, bloody brilliant. And Alice was the best of the entire auditions.

Strange that you think that as I was just thinking that tomorrow night doesn't look to be as high a standard as tonight was and looks a lot easier to predict.
I suppose it just goes to show that we are all different and have our own opinions - makes the show interesting.

BTW, I predict Jack and Alice to go through tomorrow.

I don't think there's anybody terrible on tomorrow night. Whereas tonight there was the horrendous guy dancing with a doll, two guys dressed as women and singing awful and an impressionist doing the same impressions...and doing them badly. The main two were head and shoulders above the rest really, with the dancers and Crow at least putting up a showing.

We'll have to see how tomorrow goes, but I'd expect a much tighter semi. Jack, Alice and Jack and Cormac could all do well (The first two to a larger extent, though it wouldn't surprise me if Jack and Cormac, while not overly my cup of tea, go over well with quite a few people). Martin and Marielle had an awesome audition and if they repeat it they'll surely get some love from the public. Madupe and Gabz I really have no clue, tough to judge from their auditions.

Guess we'll see tomorrow Giz

OK, I cannot defend the dancing mop guy tonight - he was terrible. but I really liked Bosom Buddies and the rest I either thought were very good or believed the public as a whole would enjoy. Admittedly, tomorrow night doesn't have any awful acts (like mop-nun), but with the exception of Alice and Jack, I feel they are pretty mediocre.
Having said that, I think all the semis this year are a vast improvement on previous years and I am looking forward to it.
We will indeed see.

I really liked Martin and Marielle at the auditions - one of the better ones for me, but they do have some tough competition tomorrow night.

MEAT DIVA - didn't really enjoy this act - think they're there so Simon can use his buzzer.
JACK AND CORMAC - I thought they were really sweet and I liked their audition but I think they'll be forgotten amongst the other acts.
MD - were ok, kind of forgettable, they need to have a clever and creative theme to show a uniqueness and get them votes
GABZ GARDINER - really enjoyed her song, but thought she was a better songwriter than singer/performer so it will depend on her song for tomorrow - I think she needs to do an original song which is as good as her audition - don't think t'll work if she does a cover.
MCKNASTY - thought he was ok, not great
MODUPE OBAFOLA - I don't feel like we saw much of her at the auditions, I liked what we did see but her next performance will be interesting - she's got quite a lot to do to get a vote since we don't know much about her.
JACK CARROLL - thought he was very good, naturally funny and good confidence for a comedian of such a young age. He will do well if he produces new material which is funnier than his audition - I don't think he'll get through if he reuses the same jokes.
MARTIN AND MARIELLE - thought they were fab - be interesting to see how the public votes towards them.
ALICE FREDENHAM - super voice, but don't know whether the voice controversy will go against her - a lot of people have perceived her as fake and the British public don't react well to that. If she can sing as well as her audition it should silence the critics and gain her enough votes to progress.

Think it'll be Jack and Alice, but I'd like to see Martin and Marielle in the running too.

Good line up tomorrow night, hard to guess who will go through Jacks my favourite from tomorrow, also like Gabz and Jack and Cormac but Martin and Marielle were great as well.

Picking up on those three comments. Firstly don't think MD really deserve a third chance, even if it is the third generation. They've never done particularly well before and this group was the worst of the lot.

Gabz - well she could just do a Loveable Rogues and do the same song every time.

Alice - don't think the "controversy" will hurt her at all - certainly didn't hurt Richard and Adam tonight. It's the song choice which is critical (and performing last I'm sure!) - I think most people who've seen both her auditions would agree she deserved to get through on BGT and deserved not to get through on The Voice - and the difference was the song.

Like most here I'd tip Alice and Jack to go through, but don't really think either have a chance of winning the whole thing.

Interesting how people have such different opinions. Apart from Alice, just due to the fact that Simon made such a fuss over her at the auditions, I couldn't tell you who any of the other acts are just from their names; certainly none of my favourites. Last night I was looking forward to Band of Voices (although they weren't as good as at auditions), Philip Green, (again disappointing from auditions), and the two acts who went through, which I thought were both amazing.

In my opinion, tonight's line up is weak, deliberately to ensure the vastly over rated Alice goes through - no doubt she's on last?

Its easy for me Alice and Modupe to go through, and Jack as third choice.

think Jack will go through, so there will be at least one non-singer in the final

Jack will win the public vote and Alice will get the judges vote.
