For anyone who doesn't know of YouGov, they're also one of the leading pollsters in the country for calculating opinion polls in politics so far more representative than any silly Heat magazine poll or the like!

Who is your all-time favourite X-Factor judge?
39% Simon Cowell
13% Sharon Osbourne
12% Cheryl Cole
11% Gary Barlow
7% Nicole Scherzinger
7% Dannii Minogue
6% None/Don't know
2% Louis Walsh
2% Tulisa Contostavlos
2% Kelly Rowland

Anyway that poll is wrong, Dannii & Nicole are faaaaaaaar better than Gary, Cheryl & Sharon.

Just my opinion of course

I'm not surprised, Simon had awsome 1liners and a certain sense of humour, plus a flair when he gave critics (whether you agree with him of not). I know it's popular to say you don't like him online, but he is very entertaining on TV.

They forgot to mention Brian Friedman in this poll

Depends what the voting criteria is. If I was voting based on the judge that brings the most entertainment to the show and is very watchable then it would be Sharon or maybe Simon. But if I was voting on who provides a good useful service to the acts with helpful support and advice then it would be Dannii or Nicole.

It's very interesting to note how high up Sharon is, I wonder if that had any bearing on her return or if the poll was conducted amongst rumours that she was returning, and so people were being reminded of her best moments in the press? It's also clear that Nicole made a big impact last year, getting the same percentage as Dannii after just one year compared to Dannii's four.

Anything Yougov says, I always take it with a pinch of salt.

Still, nice to see them doing something different in a poll than butt-kissing Labour for once.

I wish I could forget Brian Friedman...

Simon is my favourite judge also, even though he totally loses the plot sometimes. He's the most naturally funny judge though, imho.

I'm not really surprised at Simon's high placing. He's great entertainment.

I am a bit surprised at how high Sharon placed though. I'm also curious about exactly what age range the poll was conducted on.

I'm not surprised either.

A lot of polls taken on DS forums indicate that X Factor is disliked or Simon Cowell is disliked (or Louis or whoever) and people like Dannii and Kelly are loved and missed. Not true.

DS opinion is a tiny amount compared to the UK population and not at all a reflection of the majority of the GBP.

Did DID get a lot of love outside of Digital Spy though when she was on the show, especially in her last year, she couldn't put a foot wrong.

BIB - Agree.

Nicole was an instant hit, it took Dannii 2 years before she became popular.
