Your typical X Factor viewer have low expecations
Prior to Little Mix winning the show people were calling for them to sing with an unknown act called Stooshe in the final.
When Cher Lloyd was competing the dumbits were campaigning for her to perform with Jessie J who at the time wasn't a big as name as Will.I.AM was. When fans show such low expectations how can you expect the production team that once got the likes of Beyoncé & George Michael singing with finalists to even bother bettering that? The show can continue being made poorly, pulling out no stops nowadays because the viewers will settle for it. |

You can tell that by what comes out of the shows as a winning act.

Will i am may be many things but a singer he aint...he ruined what was shaping up to be a good solo perfromance - Cher would have been better off with Jessie J, would have given her those few extra votes to see off 1D

Maybe they'll bring back the guest singers instead of the judges singing with them. Since only Gary and Nicole can sing. Louis and Sharon can't .

^ I thought that Louis and Sharon would just each bring on one of their singer pals, as with the assistants at the Judges' Houses stage. Would Louis' act(s) get to duet with a former member of Westlife or Sinitta?!
