BGT V X Factor?
I don't get it, I always thought X Factor was the singing competition, obviously not. They should ban singers from Britain's Got Talent.
Seems Singer or Dancers will win this year. The Illusionists, Comics etc won't win. |

Be nice to have some dancers on X Factor, or jugglers. You don't have to be able to sing to have the X Factor.

They shouldn't ban singers, they should just not put as many through.

It depends on the type of singer. I couldn't imagine the likes of SuBo or the opera ones on last night adapting well to disco week and walking out with Nicole Scherzinger during the results show, for example.
However the twins that did the dodgy cover of the Olly Murs song, they should have went on X Factor. |

As above, I haven't got a problem with people like Susan Boyle going on, but the all the young-ish generic singers entering BGT really should just go on X-Factor. They're all exactly the same and are massively forgettable.
I don't think they can ban singers all together, but they really should limit the amount going through to the Semi's to two or three, especially singers of the aforementioned type. One of the only reasons I watch BGT is because of there's more diversity in the acts and it really does get quite irritating having to sit through bucket loads of singers (all exactly the same) every time I watch the show. |

BGT is what X factor used to be.
Fun and genuine. BGT still unearths genuine talent. X-factor is all about controversy and that's why people are bored of it. |

Genuine is not a word I associate with Cowell.
X-factor has the big brother disease, it's lost its way, and like Big Brother, will soon die a death. |

The show is genuine. Pudsey and that girl were entertaining, and no controversy.

The last series of Big Brother launched with the biggest numbers on C5 yet. Big Brother is C5's biggest programme (minus sports). You aren't seeing it go anywhere anytime soon.
................and so will X-Factor in a few years. |
