Google is your friend. But failing that, he's one of the more inventive singers around at the moment. He had a lot of publicity as the first non talent show act to be signed by Simon Cowell for years and he appeals to quite a wide demographic. I think this was his first big release. And according to Youtube he was on BGT last year (I didn't watch it but perhaps you did?). He's also just had a number 1 with Emeli Sande. That wasn't my thing but obviously it was popular.
I absolutely love Labyrinth. Earthquake and the one with Emile Sand are brill.

Lol this thread makes me laugh.

Labrinth's brother lives on the housing estate with his partner and 2 children. I didn't hear him say that Labrinth currently lives there with him. I'm sure Labrinth can afford to get his own place lol.

I'd say this was probably what brought him to prominence as his first big release. Pass Out - Tinie Tempah and Labrinth.

Why do people think he even wants to move let alone need to move?
Maybe he's no poorer than average but is quite happy living where he currently is.

Yes sorry I meant as a solo artist rather than as a producer. Love Pass Out but I laughed my head off at Chris Moyles slagging it off when it first came out. Gosh was that really out in 2009. Where has the time gone ugh!

I doubt he is that rich to be honest, not enough where he can start going around and buying his family houses etc. I would imagine if he were he would start with his parents and grandparents etc. Just because he hasn't bought his brother a house doesn't mean he hasn't done anything for them, he may have paid off any of their debts or just gave them some money.

You need to remember he is still early in his career and may be being cautious, as who knows how much longer he will have a big career, things could dry up for him at any time really and he might be making himself financially secure first.

It's okay. I guess those two songs were both the big ones which established him as a star.
I know what you mean, it's hard to believe that it was 3 years ago already.

Quite, what he's doing on the show beats me. His brother can get him enough gigs, I wonder if they are really that close.seems like he's from a church background .simom must've heard of him considering his younger brother is signed to him
Its the "X Factor" syndrome, everyone has to have a sad story so they get the sympathy vote. Who says it is a rough estate, can't be that rough, his flats looked neat and tidy outside, there were no dead bodies, burnt out cars or drug dealers lurking about. He hasn't been burgled or mugged for his very expensive equipment. Its "woe is me, I'm so poor/ill/bullied and to think my brother is Labrynth (who he?) is so famous. Notice he didn't say where his brother lives, probably on the same estate.

Didn't think much of his act either despite his boots with wings on.

Why does Amanda Holden go weak at the knees whenever a young bloke comes on? Silly woman, your there to judge their talent, not the talent.
