The kids from Essex WERE in the top 3 last night

We've sen shy quiet bluesy, sexy lena horne type, the jazzy up tempo, but tonight unfortunately for her she tried an Amy - no way, too soon, and I'm sad cos i think she can do it.

She knew that she'd screwed up and it dented her already brittle confidence imho

Maybe if she hadn't acted like such a delicate little flower people may have warmed to her a bit more. Thankfully people didn't fall for the act.

She seemed to start every sentence strongly but ended each line with a few slurred words .

I wondered if she'd a a drink or taken something to calm her nerves ?

I've just watched her first audition on BGT and then her audition on The Voice, and she showed two very different personalities. I don't know who's idea it was to have her put on this 'shy little me' for her BGT audition, but I felt at the time that it was put on. Having now seen her on The Voice, full of confidence, I'm quite convinced that she is fake. Shame, because she has a great voice. I think this play acting lost her the public vote.

Maybe her confidence was knocked after being rejected on The Voice. I wouldn't have the guts to audition let alone face rejection. But who knows how appearing on The Voice affected her, imo it would be very easy for someone to lose all their confidence and go back into their shell.
The bad press probably hasn't helped her nerves either.

I dont know about that I just think she tries to copy Iconic women singers, but she just learns the one song. She doesn't sing for herslf. Don't think any of us, including Alice, know what she is/is not capable of.

There are people on Jazzfm who think she is really good, and they should know more so that the people rubbishing Alice on here.

Alice will get the wildcard probably

Good luck to her if she does, but Personally i think she needs to work on her honesty as an artist so that people will know her, believe in her and vote for her.

Her talent goes without saying.

I don't think that's very fair but I do think viewers have more cynicism than ever before especially when they feel they are being manipulated by the puppet master that is Cowell. I never under estimate the British public......they smell a phoney from a mile off but equally will embrace a genuine personality with real warmth.

I had no idea who this Alice girl was as I have watched none of BGT this year but when the judges started their critique of this girl I said either SC is banging her / wants to bang her / or reasons known only to himself wants to sign her. She was distinctly average and put me in mind of Katie Weasel / Cher Lloyd who the public sussed straight away and yet for weeks were protected by the Cowell machine in the pursuit of ratings.

As soon as SC starts championing a performer you do tend to smell a rat and wonder what the agenda really is because viewers have had their trust abused so many times.

BTW was this girl drunk or stoned tonight? Most odd behaviour.

It is evident she observed videos of her or something and copied her to some degree in her own performances

I think in my opinion that if she had dropped the Winehouse impersonation she would have been a hell of a lot better

She's a fraud. The voice coaches knew what they were doing not putting her through. Her voice is mediocre and it was her theatrics and acting which got her through during her audition. But the public werent fooled by her fake crying tonight.

What's Simon up to then fawning over her voice?

Listen back to her performance, it was a weak vocal. She's nothing special.

Why sound like yourself when you can sound like Amy Winehouse? Complete with the slurring...

I never thought she was as great as the judges made out and tonight not only did she make mistakes she was awful and boring, I hate the slurring of words its not seductive it makes her sound silly.

I hope not, I dont like her at all
