should they be banned if they shed a few tears?

only acceptable reasons for crying i can think of are:

1. if a loved one dies while they're on stage performing
2. if they've been involved in an incident whilst performing
3. Being in the same room as piers morgan

I don't get the crying thing at all in any of these shows. Even worse when the relatives join in. What's the blubbering all about? Can anyone explain?

If you are that sensitive that you break down after a performance then got off the stage and do something else.

Any adult who cries, this indicates that they must have a nervous personality. How would they cope being in front of tens of thousands of people if they went on tour? Or, they have mastered the art of crying to gain sympathy from the audience and viewers at home. If it's the first, they shouldn't be stood on a stage with a chance of being rejected. Only people who have steady nerves should apply for auditions where they're on the stage.

It's not a case of her having to 'grow up', just that she shouldn't have applied for this show if she's that fragile. People of nervous dispositions can be fragile.

Agree - If you cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen. If she was that sensitive then having been rejected from the voice would mean that she would never go onto a talent show again. But hey presto her she is ... obviously not of a nervous disposition.

Yes some work the tears and it get's annoying, but some people are just genuinely emotional people and can't help a happy or sad tear here and there.
