I thought he was really funny, it's difficult to get laughs in a couple of minutes, probably helps with the northern accent though!

I agree. I think his jokes about his disability are just his comfort zone and his material tonight showed where he would go if he continues on and has guidance - especially the North Korea stuff. He clearly has a comedic mind.

I thought he was brilliant, great deadpan delivery and wonderful comic timing, I'm sure he'll go far whatever the outcome tonight.

I generally don't like child acts but was laughing. I can see him really developing into a good comedian as he gets older and more confident.

He really is a young Peter Kay isn't he, I like him.

I don' usually find comedians funny these days, but Jack really mad me laugh out loud,
Good Luck Jack, I really want you to win

He's better when he's just saying off-the-cuff lines, he's naturally funny! The written gags are a bit cheesy though...

I don't like wheels, I didn't even raise a smile just looked on in utter despair. People just laugh out of pity.

I thought his audition was better, but he did make me laugh tonight. I think he will be fantastic after a couple of years performing.

He was fcuking shoite. If he wasn't on wheels, he wouldn't get a look in.

Old, rubbish jokes that are older than he is. How he has the front to say he wrote them himself, I don't know. Even if he did, so what - the jokes are weak.

The first 3/4 of his act wasn't funny at all, but improved when he made jokes about Simon. Overall, overrated for sure.

You give him a nickname due to the thing that helps him walk! That's lovely of you

He would probably find it funny most of his act is taking the pee out of his disability.

Didn't like his act at all, pretty poor and jokes that I've heard before! I knew the punch line before he said it - predictable!
Still, he has guts. I couldn't get up and do it so good on him!

A few arrogant comments in here telling people what they should find funny etc.

He was funny to watch and listen and I would have found that material funny no matter who said it (so long as it was correctly delivered).

If you don't like an act, fine that is your prerogative. But don't be so arrogant and tell people what to like.

There's a big difference between a disabled person taking the pee out of their disability, and a non-disabled person describing them in terms of their disability... I'm a person, not a diagnosis.

Dear all the people saying that Jack only got through because he is disabled,

I think this says far more about you and your attitudes towards people with disabilities than it does the act you are trying to discredit. I saw very FEW jokes about his disability in his act on the semis. It was a weak semi-final and he was the best by quite a margin. As for saying his jokes are old... lol. That is all.

Cheers,
LC

What does his jokes have to do with it?
