Romances, showmances, nomances, we've seen them all throughout the years. John James and Josie, Helen and Paul, but none of them quite compare to the love shared between a young man from Mumbai and a snobby blonde girl from Surrey.

They fell in love
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwOih8uCsFE

and then they broke up

Amaline, you'll always be my favourite bb couple. God bless this Indian prince.

That was indeed the greatest BB love story.

It did however lead me to speculate on what was the SECOND greatest BB love story. Imo Helen and Paul were just tepid, Jay and louise were coarse, Luke S and Ashleigh were both tepid and coarse, Sezer and Imogen were too "you'll do, lie down", Grace and Mikey comprised one person who never spoke and one person who might have done better never to have spoken, Chanelle and Ziggy were like a very long episode of a tiresome teenage soap opera and Josie and John James did not manage the love bit. Which leaves Michelle and Stu or Aaron and Faye. Fascinating though it would have been to watch Michelle hooking Aaron, and sweet though it would have been to watch Faye and Stu getting it together I'm going to have to go with Aaron and Faye.

I'll go with Aaron and Fay, even though the HLs tended to show them as miserable with each other most of the time. Chicken Stu and Michelle was amusing at the time. Poor lad never stood a chance once the Bass decided he'd be her's.

One of my favourite bits of BB8 was Gerry and Freddie, Jonty and Munkitty Tunkitty were in the diary room for a task. Jonty was making Munkitty Tunkitty natter on and on; eventually Gerry, looking a bit fatigued, said, "Yes, well, Freddie is not saying anything because he is a toy."

That kind of spoilt the mood!

If we're talking seriously (which isn't much fun!), it has to be BB7's Grace and Mikey. They've been together nearly seven years now, married in 2009 and had a baby last year. I didn't particularly enjoy their romance as it developed on the show though!

I loved that bit. Really wish Jonty would have been in the series earlier...just found him comedy gold.
