I much prefer people that can just sing, Emelie Sande for example who is streets ahead of JLO.

It was way past the watershed of 9pm. People complaining need to get real, if you don't want your children asking awkward questions don't let them stay up late.

I could almost read her lip when she spread her legs.

I hear that Ofcom have been inundated with complaints about J Lo last night.

I think as it was half term most parents would have allowed their kids to stay up later than on a school night and this should have been taken into account.

I dont have a problem with her body, outfit or any of it,...BUt it is half term..children love Britains got talent..most of the winners so far have been children!!!...such a big deal has been made about how the show is absolutely fine for children to enter etc..even to the point of taking the pee out of Brucie..then they bring Jlo on in a very, very raunchy outfit..doing very, very raunchy moves and talking about biting her arse..mmmm...I can see why some people would deem that a little inappropiate..maybe Britains got talents needs to work out who their target audience is and focus on acts accordingly.

The Daily Mail are appalled. So much so they've included half dozen photo's from various angles and a video to demonstrate how awful it was!

Yes - it's called being a responsible parent.

So bloody what, it's all about what the affect is going to be on the poor innocent kids. I don't give a damm!!

Basically yes. So what if you let your kids stay up late because its half term, that's not the problem of the TV companies. Parents need to accept responsibility for their own choices and actions.

Seen a clip on Youtube, people are offended by this? Believe me no children were harmed in the watching of J Lo in "raunchy" dance wear - get a life!

And she has a great figure, some (a lot of) men prefer this look.

Not much of a singer though. Shows that its more about looks these days rather than talent.

Since it's half term and kids will be allowed to stay up later and watch BGT I thought it was well out of order to show her prancing around in a leather thong and thigh high boots. It was just so unnecessary and I expected that half inch of leather between her legs to reveal all at any moment.

She could have just worn leather trousers, there was no need to expose that massive rump and those thunder thighs. Nor was there any need for the suggestive dancing.

Then Amanda Holden said she wanted to bite J Lo's "ar*e"and I imagine there must have been some red-faced parents out there with their kids.”

Wow really? It really wasnt that bad!

Kids will see a WHOLE lot worse when they get older!

And by calling her thunder thighs just makes you look petty and immature!

The way people were talking about it at work I thought it must of been close to being classed as soft porn!!!

Some people really need to wake up and come live in the real world - if your that easily offended by a ass and leotard I beg you not to go on a beach!

Children must be constantly scarred when they visit beaches with all them women in bikinis

I'm skinny and while I think her outfit was awful, I'd love thighs like that!

A reponsible parent would think that a talent show aimed at the whole family would not include anything which might offend some people. There was no warning that some of the content may be of an adult nature.

Of course kids will see a lot worse when they're older ...... it's called growing up. In the meantime I don't think there's any need for J Lo to be wearing such revealing stuff or dancing so suggestively on a family show. Perfect for a nightclub or stag do but not where children are likely to watch.
Thunder thighs was the title of the thread.

EVERYONE knows the watershed ends at 9pm so if parents chose to keep their kids up that was their choice, they knew the risks!

What are the tv channels meant to do, during school holidays wait for parents to call them to tell them when their children have gone to bed??

I'm not sure what you're saying?

I admit I did think woah there's quite a lot on show but in the same breath I thought yes fantastic - someone mega successful and confident showing that it's just fine to be that shape (which in the age of the 'thigh gap' I find to be a good thing).

Skinny is fine for those who are naturally built that way but I want to see a range of images presented and the likes of J-Lo and Beyonce make me feel better about myself (even though I have zero hope of looking like them ) and give me hope that people might watch and be less inclined to think that all women should look like Kate Moss.

So am I Daily Mail?

Hahahaha, hilarious, you actually made a complaint.

I imagine that most parents wouldn't have given a damn because they are not that petty.

I can't believe that people actually complained about this.
Truly unbelievable.

So they should perhaps in the future ensure that nobody on the show has a great arse?

So what about the burlesque type acts that there have been on the show before?
Did they generate a lot of complaints too?
What about the outfits that Alesha and Amanda sometimes wear?

To complain about J Lo's appearance to me comes across as ridiculous.
It's like in Victorian times when people were offended if they caught sight of a bit of a woman's ankle.
