You say that as though it's a bad thing.
What makes you think that a lot of people wouldn't find that attractive?

You've got a point. But I presume she did that on purpose because she can.

How do you define a better backside?

I'm sure lots of red blooded men found it very attractive but as a straight female I found it a bit distracting. (but I won't be complaining to OFCOM ) I actually FFWDed her bit and her thighs are even more noticeable with no sound

I sometimes let my kids stay up late during half-term but that means letting them play and letting them watch their DVDs... It does not mean letting them watch post-watershed tv.

Although, I wonder whether they showed J-Lo and Amanda's comments on the ITV2 repeat earlier this evening.

I think I'll try watching it again with no sound if it's more noticeable without the distraction of the music.

I was suprised at Amanda's comments considering her own backside is a hundred times better than J Lo's .

Seriously?! I can't say I've ever noticed Amanda's booty which is exactly why I prefer J Lo's... A good booty should just be like "pow" all up in your face, something you can't not notice.

Serena Williams, that is a woman with an incredible butt.

Jees-us . I can't think of two more ridiculous looking buts ( Nicki Minage is a given ).

For me, as a straight woman, the J Lo / Serena / Nicki bubble butt is what I find most attractive...

Thunder thighs was the title of the thread. ”

Thunder thighs may have been the title, but you repeated it. Name calling isn't best example to set for kids. It's a holiday. Some might be posting

Anything shown past 9 o'clock is fair game. I personally didn't see anything wrong with it. I may be biased because I happen to think that Jennifer has a very nice backside and I quite enjoyed seeing it, but it wasn't a big deal. I saw more than that growing up from my own mother. My friend's mothers too actually.

I can't believe some of the comments on here! She's hardly enormous is she? How do you lot think that makes the rest of us feel? Of course she's not a stick, but I bet she's a size 12 at the VERY most, given that TV makes you look bigger than you actually are. So I'm a size 14 and I don't consider myself to be a "thunder thighs", just an average sort of size British female. The comments about her bum too, like "wide load" and carrying a bit of "extra timber". Are you people actually serious? What do you like then, complete stick insects, size 0 types?

I'm not saying everyone should have the same taste, but to imply she's large is extremely offensive to the vast majority of women, in a country where the average clothes size is a 16!

Size12!?..really? Surely she' s smaller than that .. I agree ,the thunder thighs description is not really apt.she's all woman, and then some

Although I thought J-Lo looked too tarty, by god she is a gorgeous looking woman. Plus, considering that she is a mother, she has a washboard tummy. She seems to get better with age, unlike Madonna.

She probably isn't a size 12, like I said, at the very most she's a 12, and TV makes you look bigger. Mind you, your reaction to her possibly being a size 12 is an example of the sort of thing I'm talking about; you're acting as if I had said she was a size 20. A size 12 is NOT big.

My reaction was that I couldn't believe that you thought she was that big, it didn't mean that I thought that size 12 was huge, i actually like a size 10 if I'm honest , and my guess is that she is around that mark,
How on earth could I believe that size 12 is huge if you think she's size 12 and were both watching the same woman on telly .in fact your probable overestimation or her size says a lot about how women view other women's bodies and some of the bitchy , jealous comments on this post prove that

But I personally haven't made any bitchy jealous comments about her at all. Originally what I said was that she was a size 12 at the VERY most, which meant I really thought she was more like a 10. I can't understand how some people can be implying that that is big. The sort of people you normally see on TV give viewers a very distorted idea of what's "normal". If people can watch J Lo on TV and call her "thunder thighs" and let's agree she's a size 10 then, what on earth size are the stars who come on and look stick thin? It doesn't bare thinking about.

Highlight of the series so far. Get her back for the final.

Given that her performance was as much in the presentation as in the actual singing then - really - why is anyone worried about 'size'.

As but a mere man, I suppose that there is some range of size(s) that is more attractive/acceptable, but, honestly it doesn't matter tuppence.

If a woman, any woman, is happy with her 'size', then I see no reason why anyone else should be bothered.

Everyone, man and woman, is different - just accept it.

And a woman like J-Lo deliberately and confidently showing her figure is therefore a good thing. Chances are more people will want to be like her than like someone name calling from behind their laptop.

I'd love to see all these woman's arses and thighs who think hers is too big/unnattractive. For me as a bi women, I not only think she has an awesome figure but I would love to look like her myself.

I don't think it was said that she is enormous in general, just that her thighs or bottom are, or that they looked that way, because of the hideous unflattering outfit that she was wearing. No one said she was fat! She just looked out of proportion really.
