She has never been a non entity and she was neither smug nor a cow tonight.
Putting aside the remarks about her unremarkable appearance and whether it appeals to one or not, she is a bright intelligent woman who conducted herself better than her peers in the boardroom in this episode.
Only Leah and Rebecca are women suitable to be in business with Lord Sugar IMO.

I liked her tonight. But that's probably because I couldn't stand Zee.

I didn't like the way she was speaking to the locals like they were deaf

He had no idea, so it wasn't something that she needed to prove.
Alex and Neil appeared to have no confidence in, or respect for, Zee either.

Did you object to all the others doing so also, and speaking either with an embarrassing Arabic accent and/or pigeon English?

Zee dislikes women having a brain and opinion, and it seems, his attitude is not uncommon

Jason and his idiotic Arabic accent was pretty bad as well also the very very hurry

Correct. So the right strategy would have been to work tirelessly to win the task and work as a team despite the shortcomings of the team leader. Leah failed on both counts and did her best to sabotage the task instead. In the event, the task was lost by decisions that she was not in a position to reverse but she could possibly have retrieved it with a positive attitude and one more item. She managed to come over as curmudgeonely and negative. I hope she will learn from that and doesn't make the same mistakes again.

The losing item was the wrong style of kandura. They got penalised for that. So Kurt's mistake, though idiotic, was survivable. Neil should have been in the boardroom.

Myles' team deserved to win because he was a better leader and they worked together as a team. Their performance was only just better though. That is despite wasting precious time waiting in a flag makers and bizarrely insisting on paying in advance. What possessed them to do that? You never pay in advance unless it gets you an advantage.”

The kandura was Kurt's decision too, he even bragged about the great price he got for it. there's no getting out of it, he should have been in that boardroom.

NOT in front of the customer! Jason was wrong but you don't have an argument with your team in front of the customer. Stab him iquietly n the thigh with a pencil, by all means, but you keep the verbals for after.

And nor is the sight of a female resenting her male boss because he is male. Leah is sexist towards men if you're gonna throw that out there

The whole thing is pathetic. Zee is simply a prat and he got fired. But there is no real substance to the other claims. Nick didn't say anything and neither Brady or Sugar when it was discussed in the BR

Well the true lambasting happened outside, inside Zee did try to keep calm in the face of unmitigated idiocy

Your first paragraph is utter twaddle IMO.
Your second is no more that supposition, you have no idea what was said, only what was shown. Even if what you say is true (which I'm sure it is not) it is also entirely irrelevant.

I don't think so , but I think it's telling that you've drawn that conclusion.

Why is it twaddle? Can you guarantee that Leah's unreasoned hatred of Zee before the task even got underway wasn't borne out of hatred of men? What other reason could there be, he hasn't done anything wrong

The claims that Zee is sexist are pure supposition also

It is twaddle as it is. not sure how that has you stumped.
They are not supposition, the women all say it.

No they are not, no it isn't.
I'm not gaining anything by repeating myself to you, I think you are entirely incorrect with your imaginings about the programme. Perhaps you focused on posting and reading the forum when it was being aired.
Hey ho. Maybe watch next week

She was not motivational, she didn't split her sub team as she should have done and she behaved unprofessionally. I'm prepared to accept that she was blinded byt a justified disrespect for Zee, but that gets her the benefit of the doubt, it doesn't excuse her.”

I doubt very much if splitting the subteam was an option; teams on The Apprentice are almost never split beyond two. I suspect it would cause problems filming them.

It's interesting that Leah was not criticised by Sugar for going to the mall, but for not sticking to her guns. It was obviously being seen as the right thing to have done. Certainly the other team did better sticking to the mall, though that's no guarantee that Leah's sub-team would have done.

Perhaps she did grouse a bit too much about Zeeshan, but she didn't seem to be lacking in effort.

But the team voted for Zee to be PM over Leah (so they must have had some confidence in him at the beginning).

Granted, they changed their tune about Zee afterwards, but the point people are making is that Leah seemed to have it in for Zee before the task even started.

It's also very rude to appoint yourself the sub-team leader in my opinion.

Actually, she could not have split her sub-team. The number of groups they can split into is limited by the number of camera crews.

That is why, for instance, once Myles had decided to wait for the flag, his team mates were stuck in the shop with him; and why it was a big deal in the beer task that Alex went out with no samples: it meant a whole sub-team had to drive across town to deliver them.

Agreed totally. Leah really disappointed me in this task. Up until this point I felt her and Rebecca were the two strongest candidates this year. I was frustrated that even though the sub-team eventually realised Zeeshan was probably wrong, they appeared to show no real initiative. There seemed to be an undercurrent of sabotage.

Zeeshan, however, was overly-concerned with his relationship with the boys.

I agree. Her over-ruling Zee to go to the mall = good idea. Her getting there then being "browbeaten" into turning around and going to the market = covering her backside and time wasting.

Jordan showed how it's done, "we're here now, give us 20 more minutes then we'll get back to you". There's no reason why Leah didn't pull that sort of trick.

Zee was the right person to be fired, but Leah wasn't innocent of the mistakes, and could've covered herself in glory by correcting them and getting her team a win, even though Zee had been a disaster. I felt she gave up on trying to win (which in fairness all of them but Alex seemed to do).

I assume by your name you are Scottish so, surely, you understand that being Scottish/Irish, we have to project our voices to even be understood south of the border nevermind in a country which speaks a different language.

I though Leah was absolutely fine last night. Zee's sexism was apparent in the way he ignored Natalie in the taxi, asked to speak to Neil when Leah was trying to explain her reasons for going to the mall and the fact he brought both the girls in with him to the boardroom when the failure of the task was down to money lost by Kurt's miscalculations with the flag or Neil purchasing the incorrect item.
