The joke about the policeman was absolutely awful. The judges laughing like they had to out of politeness.

This reminds me of the old painting competitions on Blue Peter where the prize was to have the winning entry made into a postage stamp.. Some great entries from kids at 13 & 14 but the winner was always a load of crap by a 4 year old

this, most of it was forced laughter and was total cringe and embarrassing to watch!

I agree with the judges Jack is original in that he writes his own material. I thought he was brilliant.

I quite like Jack but he was weak last night.

The close-ups of the judges laughing like drains at his jokes came across as fake, I'm afraid and the standing ovation was patronising.

Knowing Jack tho', he would probably make a joke at his own expense about 'standing' ovations.

Comedy is subjective so I'm not surprised some people didn't think he was funny, but it's obvious that the majority thought he was as he was voted into the final.

I thought he was brilliant.

Jack is considerably funnier than any of those. He wasn't as good as the audition tonight, but still the best by a mile.

The two young singing duo, if adults would've been dreadful. Jack as an adult would've still been pretty good. Better than plenty of pro stand ups in my opinion (eg Reg Hunter, Rich Hall, Lee Nelson).”

Think what you like, it's my opinion.

If Jack wasn't disabled he would have very few and far between jokes to tell.
Apart from the odd 1 or 2, they were all about his disability. I'm not knocking him for doing so, good on him.

'Tho I still believe the 'adoration' and standing ovation is because he's disabled.

I agree.
He wasn't that good.

Really? And you use a discriminatory term to describe her?

he is funny and because he has a disability people afford him greater grace than they would if he did not have his disability. To be honest it will help young people see disability in a positive light so more power to his elbow.

In other words, sympathising with him!!

Seems this word is taboo where young Jack is concerned.

Don't know why it's frowned upon to have sympathy for him!

I agree. I didn't find him funny at all. The jokes were lame, and it felt like people were over exaggerating the laughter, in order to show support for him.
He seems like a lovely lad, with a great outlook on life, but I barely sniggered.
To be honest, I have never seen a child comedian ever, who I have found anything other than cringemaking.

He's probably the best comedian they've ever had on the show, which probably isn't saying much considering that they barely feature, but I think they probably head hunted him because he appeared on the Pride of Britain Awards last year.

It's true, he's not really that funny.

But he is funnier than McIntyre, Millican, Parsons, Jupitus and a fair few other comedians. And if those talent-vacuums can make a living out of it, then good luck to him.

ah okay guys! I wasn't too sure as I didn't see his original performance. I think he's really good! I just wasn't 100%

He was just okay.
Too much emphasise on disability for my liking....

I'd say not quite.
I think some of his jokes were old jokes, but just rehashed a little.

But I do think that he's very good. I think that he's naturally funny.

In fact I think he'll win the final.
