I love Jason
He makes the show worth watching. I hope he doesn't get fired too soon

I can't stand him. He's a useless, bumbling idiot. And seems really rude aswell.

He does seem a bit weird, totally out of his depth, he's been very lucky so far, I can only assume he has a great business idea!
At the moment he seems to be playing the "everyones friend" routine, in the hope of escaping the boardroom. |

I was thinking about making a similar thread. He's amazing.
Like I've posted in another thread, whenever I start think he's in there just for the entertainment he shows himself to be a capable individual. What we saw of him negotiating this task was very good. He was the person to initially identify task four that Luisa's farm shop would be sparse with the amount of veg she was requesting. I have no idea what the last two posters are on about calling him useless etc... |

Sorry you'll have to show me where in my post did I say he was "useless". His sales/negotiating is awful. In the "beer task" just as the sale was about to go through he jumped in with a lower price. And last night he came in with mad price, which was nowhere near what they ending up paying, in fact it was treble what they ended up paying compared to his initial price. But he's a nice guy, don't get me wrong, and maybe he will shine, but I don't think so.

In the beer task there's clearly something missing that we haven't been shown. In the argument afterwards Jason was clearly trying to give reason/explain his actions but wasn't allowed the opportunity because of Zee shutting him down. Jason's explanation in the boardroom was very vague, and we all know Lord Sugar doesn't like waffling and so why didn't we see Sugar giving Jason more of a grilling? perhaps Sugar grilling Jason more didn't make the edit but maybe Jason giving a good reason didn't make the edit either, like going to offer £75 if they take 2 but couldn't finish that offer because Zee interrupted. There's a whole lot of ambiguity around that and we wont know what was going through Jason's head until we hear a proper explanation from himself.
Also, that 'mad' price you referred to was hardly mad. It's the start of a basic meet in the middle strategy. Their paying price was closer to the figure that Jason quoted than the one offered, so hardly a bad move. |

He's lovely. I'm not sure how effective he is at the tasks, he may be too eccentric for something like this, I think they are all going to gang up on him the minute he's in the losing team and I don't think he's right for Lord Sugar. But he is coming across as a sweetheart. (I missed the beer one so I can't judge him in that.)

Jason reminds me a lot of (inventor) Tom. I think he's highly intelligent, but he's an easy target to be shot down and pushed to one side, because he thinks differently and is not like the loud mouthed, bullish, arrogant apprentices. More fool them, because he's probably got a lot to offer.

Well yes and no because the girl (can't remember who) said 500 which was closer to the end price, but I take your point, but it was still a mad price. You usually come in at a third and meet somewhere around the middle.

The other thing being he's a complete numpty who is the luckiest candidate this year for being on the right team all the time.

I don't think Jason has a snowballs chance, the major thing being he appears to have no real world experience in business. Even Tom nearly suffered losing until he pulled out his muffin to the manager of Walmart story.

We need to add last week's gem to the reasons why we love Jason
LS: You seem like an awfully nice fellow Jason: That's very kind of you, thank you As numbers start to dwindle hopefully we'll get to see more of Jason in the edit and he'll have more of a chance to shine. |

I like him
When LS was sarky to him ( "I'm sure you're a lovely chap" ) Jason said "That's very kind of you" ![]() He reminds me of Seargent Wilson from Dad's Army |

He's more suited to Big Brother than The Apprentice.

He is my favorite thing about the series so far, very glad he is still in. I hope he is made team leader next week and thrashes the other team, would enjoy that.
