I guess swearing may not be allowed in dubai as last night a contestant looked like she made a mistake by swearing.
Did Nick help the team is this allowed.
I thought Muslims don't shake hands right-handed.
Two contestants sound like comedians, Jack Dee and Michael McIntyre

lol. This is a funny thread. Muslims can shake hands with their right hand. Swearing? Er, probably not so much it's a very conservative place but I doubt it's an offence.
Nick was probably sick of them getting things wrong so thought what the hell..
i dont know which ones sound like those comedians.

Swearing is probably frowned upon, but I think it was more her reaction to swearing at all that made her pull up.

It would be an insult to shake hands left handed iirc, that's the "unclean" hand. They probably wouldn't have shaken hands with a woman.

Dunno about the comedians bit.

It really depends on the person. You are correct though. A lot of conservative/devout muslims wont, especially before prayer time when they've done the washing of the hands etc ritual and they don't want to be 'uncleansed' by touching people's hands.
But a lot aren't really bothered. It's just one of those things.

Often you'll see them greeting a person by putting their hand against their own chest rather than shaking hands.

My guess is Jordan (Jack Dee) and Jason (Michael McIntyre)

It looked like Nick was helping team Zee with the flag measurements, though that could have been misleading.

Jason sounds the spit of Giles Brandreth to me (what he says and how he says it) - perhaps Jason could join Nick on Countdown in dictionary corner?
