I hope it's not two separate houses or something, I'd rather they just put them all in together from the start and let us see them interact. The house division at the start of last CBB definitely didn't work well imo.

And as you will see I referred to it as "evening" earlier in the post...

They're making a big deal about the doors though, I think they'll have to choose a door, one will contain a secret and one will contain a lie. The HMs will have to work out which door contained which. Guessing their decision will have an affect on what happens in part 2.

I'd love it if the first set of HMs contains a couple of fake HMs, it is secrets and lies after all.

Then the second night they can group vote who they think is a "fake", and evict/ replace them with more real HMs. If they pick a real HM that person gets immunity from the first noms.

It will be a secret house probably. And I bet they both aren't supposed to know the other exists.

You just described my worst possible scenario lol.

I cant stand interfering with nominations and evicting a housemate so soon is just a waste of not only ours but their time.

Whats the point of auditioning for 3 months to get chucked out?

Its bad enough after 1 week seeing as we don't get to know them but after 1 day wouldn't be enjoyable to watch....Just cruel and pointless.

I hope we dont have two lots of hms, they should all go in on day 1 and no more after, but i fear with two launches it suggests two lots of hms ?

I really hope it's not a gender divide. The all female launch of BB8 killed that series from the off.

I would much rather everyone just goes in together, it never really felt that BB had started that year for me with the drip feed of men over weeks and weeks.

Agree. They took too long getting the last CBB basement people out.

A two-night launch!

Double the fun The build-up this year has been great, now I'm really excited to watch it. I'm assuming it's going to be two houses, maybe the second house doesn't know that the first house exists and vice versa.

How many minutes will it take them to figure it out as the 2nd House housemates cry out "Oh My God" as they enter.

Probably a minute or two Another problem if they pull that two house twist is unless they manage to stick in 24 HMs (12 per house) then the HMs will wonder why there are so few HMs in their house.

Of course this is all speculation, it might not even have anything to do with two/split houses.

I'm officially excited! And there's lots of live feed too the first couple of days! Will there be live feed after each eviction again this year? I hope so!

I just hope we get a mix of people from all ages this time rather than all young people!

At the moment all we know is that there's two hours an evening from 7 on 5*, though an extra 30 minutes after BOTS on finale night does seem likely judging by the second launch night, guess we'll have to wait and see.

You wouldn't be evicting a HM.

Imagine you're splitting the HMs over two days.... say 14 are going in. Now you put in the first 10 and 4 fakes so they don't know another lot are coming the second night. The fakes were never going to be HMs and know this, they just have to convince the real 10 that they are.

Then night 2, you tell them to pick the four fakes. Once they reveal a fake, that person is swapped with the genuine HM who didn't go in night one. If they pick a real HM, the real HM gets immunity week one from noms.

If the housemates aren't in hiding yet then they will all be aware that there is a 2nd launch night, even if the crowd stay quiet.

Any big twist will need to be subtler than trying to have 2 groups of housemates supposedly unaware of each other. Those who go in on Thursday will speculate on what's happening at launch part 2 and those in launch part 2 will know that the house is already occupied so wonder what they have to do to get in.

I watched the Aussie launch and that twist was shit. I hope it's not that.

They did that in BBUS I think

The effort they are putting in is incredible. I don't think anyone can be critical of them in terms of effort.

When it gets to like 7 days before it starts, they need to promote it like mad. Launch nights ratings will be very interesting.

Ben frow must have had ideas long before he got his current role for Big Brother and could possibly be building his time at Channel 5 around Big Brother? I say that because the effort is huge, lots of ideas being put into the show and new presenter, new bots team, New production staff.

So yeah, they could be using this series also as a test for the next cbb.

Nope. Yes it should be!

And we know what a complete disaster that turned into! I really wish they would stop mucking around with the format!
