How many apps on your tablet?
scorpionatthepc

Just used a cache cleaner on my tablet and it said I had 479 apps installed!!! Yes quite a lot in which most of them are free apps which I have just downloaded, had a quick go and not used again. Think I need a clear out but then again I still have around half the hard drive space left. Still a lot of apps though.

How many have you got installed?

I don't actually have that many but when i Look on iTunes and see all the apps not installed, I have many. But I delete from my iPad anything I don't use or want.

80 on my iPad 4 and they all get used. Of course some get used more regularly than others but as with my Mac I don't believe in keep things I have no use for.

If I were you I would wipe the tablet and start over by loading only apps you plan on using. I guarantee you that your tablet will perform better too.

Care to explain how? You do seem to present a lot of conjecture as hard certainty.

If the OP was running out of storage space then the SSD performance would have been impacted but this is not the case here.

Those apps installed but not running are not taking up RAM or CPU cycles so please do tell us how you guarantee better performance.

Mainly use browsing, email, video and reading. Not much time in life to do much else with it at the moment.

I currently have 159. Only 2 or 3 dozen are really used regularly. The rest are used rarely (mainly games) but still like to keep for long commutes.
