Why have they put so many bad acts on one night?

Is this joke night or something? How many have been buzzed now? 4? There must be one or two acts that they're desperate to get through tonight, with no competition.

I watched Eastenders so missed the first half hour. If what I have seen is anything to go by I didn't miss anything.

Lauren smashing windows with salt is even better than this.

They want the singers in the final.

To make the Luminites seem better than they are, in my opinion. You heard what Simon says - he has big plans for them. IF they were eliminated before the final, his plans would be over. He's made sure they will have some success now.

Really bad isn't it.
But the way some of the acts have treated is just disgusting.

I think all the judges should be sacked for putting such crap acts through to the live shows . You would think they would be able to spot an act with real potential by now !!!

It is a bit harsh really. They put them through knowing what the act was and then they buzz!

Then again some of them were pretty appalling....But still, THEY put them through!

The kids were entertaining - Rosie was awful as was Robbie, I can't stand singers who 'belt out' songs, the dancer was good but I can't see there being any call for this kind of old Fred Astaire/ Gene Kelly style dancing anymore, bouncing balls was a load of balls, the rap was crap and it always is - a sad excuse for someone who can't sing who wants to be a pop star, the magician was a big disappointment as his audition was great and now hes blown it, Luminshites - enough said, I wouldn't pay to see any of them and none of them are good enough to sell enough tickets to fill a phone booth never mind Wembley ! It's obvious Mr Big has stuck his faves in with all this trash to make sure they get through - I hope it goes tits up but no doubt the judges have been told who to vote through should they come 2nd or 3rd !! Lets see,.

I agree. I can't put it down to anything else as there have been much better acts who didn't even get to the semi-finals.

I think it's obvious that Simon has eyes on one or two acts tonight who he'd particularly like to see do well in the final. And perhaps sign up.
To get them into the final all he has to do is make their competition weaker to help them make the final.

I think perhaps that they didn't intend to put so many bad acts on in one night - it just turned out that way. Based on their auditions tonights acts were of a similar standard to other semis - its just that most didn't perform well or raise their game tonight.
That said, Freelusion, Joseph and Luminites were good so it wasn't all bad.

Hmm, conspiracy theory coming up here....Remember that one show where Simon went off and David and the others 'naughtily' put rubbish acts through?
In hindsight it appears that in itself may appear possibly staged so that the show has an alibi to excuse bad acts getting through.
He can then pit favoured acts against crap ones.
Any accusation of setting it up like this, he can say blame David and the others for putting crap acts through on that one particular day.

I very much doubt that it just happened to turn out that way.
They had plenty of time to arrange lineups and seed contestants.
A show this well produced wouldn't make a mistake like that. Then find out on the day of the semi-final that they've made a mistake.
I just don't see it in a show which is as very controlled and planned like this one.
