I didn't before but now I don't think that kids should be on this show. They should have a kids BGT then at least we would have a choice whether we wanted to watch kids performing and not having them subjected on us whether we want them or not.

Can't bare that group of kids. Desperately wanted Joseph to go through. The way those kids acted, trying to make the judges vote for them was totally uncalled for and Joseph was so calm and dignified in comparison.

It was pathetic. Forgetting the act, they'd actually come across as really cute and lovely kids but that was awful viewing.

The old hand up pretending to be a phone is tedious enough, but one of the girls was literally in tears and hands clasped together praying and begging.

I agree. I'm tired of seeing kids go through just because they're cute and kids, and more talented people fall by the wayside.

they came second in the public vote so doesnt matter - its pointless if an act that comes third goes through and the one the public vote for doesn't

I thought it was totally normal, like most kids their age. Glad they got through.

Agreed, they came across as cute and good in the show but it was quite bad to watch them almost crying

I agree. I really felt for him because you could see in his eyes that he knew he didn't stand a chance even though he was the far superior act.

Well I think it does matter. If they influenced Simon's vote then they got through instead of Joseph.

But to be fair I think I'd have found it difficult to not vote for them after I saw them hugging the other contestants. How can you compete against something like that?

The ones at the front had their hands together in praying mode and they were shouting please please, one was crying.

I didnt have a problem with kids on the show before now but that has made me see it in a different light.

Very uncomfortable viewing in my opinion and not fair on some of he talented adults like Joseph and Rosie

Yes, I thought that they were adorable the way that they hugged the other constants.
But it corrupts what the show should be about.

When Joseph got through I thought I saw some light at the end of the tunnel. But alas it wasn't to be.

I commend Alesha for her no nonsense getting straight to the point approach in the vote and saying Joseph almost immediately.

Psychologically, how are the kids of Pre School going to cope when
they don't win the final.

This is Bruce's point exactly.

The poor kids crying and begging was hard to watch. Thats why Simon had to go to deadlock rather than kick them out

Probably better than most of the adults do!

I agree with you and other posters. Joseph is a class act.

I saw that, I know they're kids and all but it was a little unfair on Joseph, he is talented.

I think the "ah" factor is starting to take over some good acts. Who would pay to go and watch those kids? Good acts not going through. It should be Kids with pushy mums talent show, getting silly now.

stop moaning - they got through because the public voted them in 2nd place not because they were begging !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The public decided not the judges - END OF STORY

You keep saying they got through because they came in 2nd from public voting - technically that scenario is only valid if the judges take it to deadlock. Other acts who came in 3rd could easily have gone through over acts in 2nd in past shows because that's how judges voted - Simon took it to deadlock surely as even if he wanted to put Joseph through, he doesn't want to upset those little kids and if they must go out then he wouldn't be the one responsible.

The judges are meant to have the best "judgement" once the public have whittled it down to the remaining favourites. and that's why the judge voting stage is there to begin with. Clearly people who aren't happy with tonights result probably expected the judges' calls to have been better.

It's happened at least three times before (that we know of).

He was scared of eliminating the kids.
Then how would he look with a whole load of kids crying?
It would make the Hollie thing a couple of years ago pale into significance.

He knew full well that if he had a whole bunch of crying kids on his hands it would be very bad news indeed for him and his show, especially when he's been trying to arrogantly dismiss any criticism of the idea of young children competing in the show. He would certainly look an idiot if those kids all started crying if they didn't get through after all his digs at Brucie.
He knew it. He bottled it.
We always say on these shows that when judges take it to the public vote when they're supposed to be voting for an act with the strength of their own convictions it is a bit of a coward's way out.

What a horrible bunch of precocious brats. Also, they are certainly not all pre-school age so why are they being portrayed as though they are???
