Joseph was more talented and should have won the show IMO. He has 2 kids and needed the break. These kids wont win and will disappear into obscurity.Simon should have picked him, we have enough kids in the final.

Can't bare that group of kids. Desperately wanted Joseph to go through. The way those kids acted, trying to make the judges vote for them was totally uncalled for and Joseph was so calm and dignified in comparison.
I think Joseph deserved it much more, (although I did like Pre-Skool).

Also in the long run it is likely to make more of a difference to his life and career, that a group of kids who will probably soon lose interest in dancing and move on to something else instead.

Incidentally, why are they called Pre-Skool? They are not 3-4 year olds, they are primary school kids. Is it something to do with the older group of school kids who were on last year?

I thought it was totally normal, like most kids their age. Glad they got through.
Completely agree, seemingly some of the people posting on this thread have never been around children before.

I guess they thought it was a catchy name.

I've been around kids, got two of my own for starters. Doesn't change my opinion of the desperate brats who were on there tonight! There again, I wouldn't have put my sons into that position in the first place, at that age.

The reason why kids should have their own show. Got the impression that Simon would have preferred to put Joseph through, but could not disappoint a bunch of kids.

Shame for Joseph. Hopefully he will be the wildcard

Couldn't stand them!!! And the begging was disgraceful. Joseph was a much better dancer and deserved to through but you could see Simon bottling it!!!

I'm in the "Britain's Kids Have Got Talent" camp - so I could avoid the brats entirely

Were they frightened of saying no in case they all burst out crying?

I wonder how it would have gone down if you switched the roles around and Pre-Skool were stood there in quiet dignity waiting for the results of the judges' vote, and Joseph was half on his knees desperately praying and almost in tears pleading for Simon to save him?

Er, they're children. I don't think you can reasonably compare the behaviour of a bunch of 5 to 8 year olds and a 35 year old...

I do worry about some people on here.

Fact is pre school got more votes tonight so would'nt be fair putting the dancer through instead of them. As I said earlier its a public vote not a DS vote remember that.

I wished Simon had saved Joseph, he was really good. The judges comments for Pre school were way over the top, I think Simon didn't want to see the kids cry and thats why he sent it to the public vote.

Well there you go then, if that's an example of what an average person thinks then it looks like old Brucie was right after all.

You can't compare them?
Well they shouldn't be in the competition at all then should they?
If allowances need to be made then I can see that there's a problem in the nature of the competition.

And in my opinion most of the public are easily fooled by the we are kids, we are so cute act. This in my opinion is why they got a lot of votes. They forced the cuteness act down the throats of everyone watching tonight, especially the end bit.

4.30 in for those who missed it. They certainly pulled at the judges heartstrings to get their vote

Well if I was that age I probably would have done the same, to get someone to vote for me. They still did get through fair and square though.

I also do wonder about people saying stuff about their name. Pre Skool is just a name, no one said it was a description of what they actually are.

they came second in the public vote so doesnt matter - its pointless if an act that comes third goes through and the one the public vote for doesn't
I was very surprised at the second place but at least it's fair that they are in the final. I enjoyed the act. But it would have been good to see the excellent dancer Joseph go through.
My problem is with the name preskool. Those children are clearly older and the deliberate mis-spelling annoys me too considering they are young children.

I hope that whoever coaches or teaches Pre Skool tears them of a strip about their antics in the semi final before they take place in the final. If they wish to have a grown up career, then they had better start to behave a bit more professionally, pretty quickly. No matter how young and cute they are they won't get away with that kind of behaviour for too long working in a professional environment.

Agreed. They are just that bit too young to behave in a modest way.
Adorable as they are they are unlikely to win the final so I hope there are some responsible adults in the background ready to handle the tears.
I would imagine had Simon said "Joseph" the kids would have burst into tears.

They seriously need to have a separate show for kids. It was uncomfortable to watch and I dread to think what it would have been like if they hadn't got through. I do think Joseph was the better act but, fair enough, they went through on the public vote. I don't have a problem with that bit of it. I do, however, think they should have a BGT for over 16's and, if they want, another for kids. I personally wouldn't watch it as I'm not a fan of child acts but it would be a good compromise. I was watching last night with my daughter and her comment was "good god, was I ever like that?" Thankfully, the answer was "no".

I blame the adults who mentor them .They should be warned how to behave and no pleading or shouting or begging for votes .
If they want to have kids on this show the adults who are in charge must teach them how to handle it first .

I felt that too and Joseph I think knew that it was going to do to deadlock and he was so dignified.

If Simon wants kids on this show then he needs to have the balls to make a decision and not go to deadlock because he doesnt want to be seem as the "bad man" who upset all the wee kiddies.

In my mind Bruce is totally right about a separate show for the kids.

...totally agree that the Pre-School lot should not have gone through!!

Last night's show was totally predictable. I sat in front of the tv just knowing that they would be going through because obviously the public love 'cute and cuddly kids'.

Its a talent show for Pete's sake - lets vote for the acts that actually have the talent. Not just vote for the acts that have loads of kids and look cute or the ones we feel sorry for.

And on my last point ( yes - I know I will no doubt get a pasting for this but hey - everyone is entitled to an opinion!!) I really do think that the young comedian with the disability (sorry - can't remember his name now) ONLY got through because the judges did not want to say no to a disabled person ( my view on this seems to be backed up here: http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1831533)

Could you imagine the backlash the British public would have given the show if the judges had 'X'ed him........

Yes he was funny but certainly not funny enough to be put through to the final...................
