I've given you an opinion, I'm not going to bother repeating if you couldn't be bothered to actually read it the first time.

I re read it and I agree so you think it gained him votes which is my point in the first place

People would not have voted for him if he hadn't been funny - disabled or not.

If he wasn't disabled he wouldn't make jokes about being disabled, but I'm pretty sure he'd be making jokes about something else. He's a naturally funny kid. Great delivery for a youngster.

Lmao.

Should I bother asking for your evidence of this?
Watch him perform thats enough

So the only evidence you have is your own opinion on his performance? Yeah, good to know.

Thanks for the clarification.

I understand what you're saying but the other jokes not about his disability were rubbish and would've gobe down like a lead balloon if it was a 30year old able man.

Might be a bold statement to alot of you on here but in my opinion him being disabled helped him alot..

He wasn't particularly funny in any sense if this was a abled person he wouldn't have got through.

Before anyone says im not being prejudice I have family members in wheelchairs!
In your opinion. Obviously, many others disagree.

Obviously, having a disability will help him in some sense. A lot of his jokes revolved around it, in a self deprecating manner. However, I'd say most just found him very funny. I certainly did, and I don't really like stand up comedy as a genre.

Also, he was always going to stand out amongst the steaming pile of crap he was up against.

I've known it was your opinion the whole time, it was you making ridiculous statements such as your factual knowledge about the "general voters".

Well thanks for the laughs anyway. You should have auditioned for BGT yourself.

dsmithy2011... you're coming across as a bit of a troll... or just an arrogant and opinionated bitter person who doesn't seem to realise that your opinion is your opinion. You make assumptions, but you seem to make the assumptions out to be right. Yes Jack isn't everyone's cup of tea and people have the right to like or dislike him... but to claim it on his disability is pathetic.

A lot of comedians suffer with depression - which can be seen as a disability - yet people still find these comedians funny and don't realise it's the depression that improves the comedy. Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker are all disabled but made a comedy (based) show talking their disabilities. Some people use their disability as an advantage to make people laugh - so what is wrong with Jack Caroll trying it out himself. Just cause you don't like it or find it disrespectful doesn't mean everyone else has to.

Personally I liked his jokes, both the ones that poked fun at himself and the others - the Simon Cowell ones were good in my opinion and shows he could do banter if given the chance. He might not be the best comedian, but he isn't the worst.

You could say that about any act, especially if they're young. For example, if the young girl who played the piano and sung her own song had been thirty, would she have got through? People vote for potential as much as anything. Of course he's not a seasoned pro, but he may well be in a few years time.

Id opt for angry opinionated bitter person tbh. Also I was just saying his disability helped him to get votes which is probably true.

I thought he was genuinely funny regardless of his disability. If he wasn't I'd still think the same he is funny.

And it is probably not true. Since you weren't one of the voters you do not know. And being an angry bitter person isn't a good thing. Might want to let loose and just know how to enjoy life rather than make bitter angry comments about an act you don't care about.

his jokes where average , his confidence was very good , did he get through because he's disabled is debatable.

could say the acts with the younger kids they get an advantage as well with the voting public.

He would've gained votes from his disability you have to be pretty delusional to think he didnt tbf.

Maybe I should see a therapist or maybe I should just stick with threads like these.
