First of all it was a stage costume, most artists wear clothes like this these days on stage look at people like Lady Gaga and Rihanna.
And it was 40 minutes after the watershed so there is no way that OFCOM should get involved. It's a family show yes but it was after the watershed end of story.
People love to complain to OFCOM about everything these days. People need to lighten up, don't let your kids watch after the watershed.

I wouldn't complain to Ofcom, but I don't care for a gynaecological view of her crack.

She's absolutely gorgeous, and the outfit was no more than a leotard and thigh high boots.

People complaining need to get a life, I could watch that over...and over...and over

Mine and most of my friend's kids didn't see the performance because we're responsible parents who don't let our children watch post-watershed television... But our kids have seen the pictures splashed all over the cover of "outraged" newspapers in all the shops.

I agree. Some people go crazy over nothing. She looked hot.

Some idiots at the mail trying to whip up a bit of fake outrage is hardly a controversy. No one gives a shit

I laughed at the extremely heavy breathing at the end, could barely make out what she was saying amongst the breaths into the mic and yet when she was "singing live" she sounded so crisp and clear. A bit like Cheryl Cole.

Funny that.

I can't see anything wrong with it and she is covered up apart from a bit of her legs.
JLO shows a bit of leg and people go mad saying she's dressing inappropriately for kids. You'd think we're in Dubai/ Arabia with some peoples reactions. It's just a performance and far many other celebrities have worn less.

Come off it, she showed more than a bit of leg. The country was her gynaecologist.

If someone's covered up over their entire body except their titties and fanny, would you say "But she had mostly clothes on.". Lol.

As I posted on the main Page of DS covering this story.
Its the Daily Mail say no more the paper that loves to moan and complain but has no problems showing the "offending" pictures all in the name of revulsion of course
the same paper has no problems showing Celebs with either barely nothing on or pictures so unflattering with an Editorial that would destroy anyone's confidence.

no more likely someone there cant believe a 43 year old can have a body like that..isn't that like 190years old In Daily Mail years?

Let's not forget that if you turn 1 page in these newspapers you will get a woman flashing her boobs at you any kid can pick up a newspaper in a shop and open 1 page, now shouldn't that be classed as worse than what was on BGT ?

These people that complain are pathetic and need to get a grip.

Complaining to Ofcom seriously people it doesn't get any sadder than that.

I don't know how true it is but there was an explanation for that in another thread. It's something to do with her oxygen levels being constant whilst she was performing the strenuous routine but fluctuating once she was in resting mode.

It's a weak argument when you compare her to two other sluts.

I don't think the argument is ridiculous.
The show, which can be seen from all the kiddie contestants this year, is clearly aimed at families and particularly those with young kids. Young girls are sexualised far too much these days via the media causing all sorts of problems and mixed messages..
Showing a performer in such a revealing costume with open-leg crotch shots is not for this type of show-post watershed or not. If this is deemed acceptable for a family show then young girls will get the message that it's OK to dress like a prostitute and flaunt their bodies when they do not actually have a clue about the connotations involved.
As for the show asking her to wear that costume that is proof that they want press headlines at any cost. Wrong, wrong wrong!

Same opinion here.
It's as if she wants the audience to smell it.

I can't be bothered to be outraged but surely if someone is a good singer with a good song, they don't need to be showing their vaginas to sell it? I did see more of her than I wanted to and her crotch getting thrust at me on a 55 inch screen was a bit disturbing. Would I be bothered to complain? No.

Why are Lady Gaga and Rihanna sluts? I've never read or heard anything about either of them sleeping around. Gaga has been dating someone for a while as far as I know and Rihanna is usually on/off with Chris Brown

I love the Daily Mail's reporting of this.

They create an article concerning apparent outrage over the performance, whilst filling the article with at least 15 photographs of her outfit and dance routine and even link a video of it!

They really are laughable.
