Who do we think will win?

I'm going to go for an outside bet and say "Jason" I think thats the first time ever that a candidate has been recalled to the boardroom and complemented. LAS obviously likes him and likes his business idea, and is trying his hardest to keep Jason in.

As much as I love Jason and would actually like to see him win. I have the horrible feeling as though this weeks excessively positive edit might just be before a fall

All of the early potential winners are starting to blunder now i.e. Leah and Jordan. Myles is still easily the weakest candidate left. Alex, while sometimes competent and funny does an awful lot of whining and criticising without really doing anything. Francesca had a bad performance as PM but could still recover. Luisa's business competence has still yet to be realised. The only one looking like a potential winner is (as much as I hate to say this) Neil, as his bad performances in the Farm Shop and Dubai tasks were largely glossed over and forgotten and has since recovered.

In order of who I think the likely winners are

Neil > Francesca > Jordan > Leah > Luisa > Alex > Myles

If Jason is going to continue with the positive streak (which I really hope) I'd put him above or equal to Jordan.

I am genuinely perplexed by people who think Francesca is even close to being in with a shout of winning. She's a nice enough girl, but average at best. Her basic maths is appalling, and on the away day task she showed that she is pretty delusional when it comes to dealing with other people in business.

For me, the best candidates on ability are Myles and Neil. I could see Leah and Luisa joining them in the final 4 but I think one of the chaps will win.

Unfortunately as I and a couple of others have pointed out, the winner will not purely be based on ability during the series. Whoever has the best business plan will win (as long as they don't embarrass themselves too much in the process that is)

I wouldn't say that he doesn't really do anything. He does whine a lot, but he usually does come up with a solution. Compare him with Sophie, who whined and whined but never offered anything positive to sort out the situation - that we saw anyway. Alex reminds me a bit of Susan from a few years ago. She initially came across as quite weak and a bit immature, but she usually had good ideas and did a good job on the tasks, and she won both times she was PM - not by fluke either. I'll be interested to see how Alex does as PM.

Jason being called back was so theatrical, I cannot help thinking it was done to impress the other candidates.

Even with the old prize, that was the case. The tasks got you as far as the interview stage and then became irrelevant.

Luisa will win. She has what LS wants. Someone who can be his partner. Cant see any of the others at all winning. They somehow are just not down to earth. Talking a lot and saying nothing. Not doing much either. Each task brings this out further. Why in this caravan task, if they cant sell a thing in the morning they should give the others a chance in the afternoon. They just dont believe how hopeless they are at selling high priced items. People think twice before spending that kind of money, something this team never realised. Wasting their time talking to old people who arent interested in buying, do they think they are social workers. They should have had one girl there all the day. Its not like selling a car but a house where the wife usually decides and knows better what she wants. I think they are a hopeless lot.

Yeah, I hear you lammtarra. I'd say it's far more pronounced with this format though.

Just my own personal opinion of course,

hated him at first and he thinks a lot of himself but Neil is my ultimate winner.

I come in peace- This will not be popular on here. I am just giving you a head's up!

I reckon she may get to the final 4, but I feel a she may be angling for a slightly different career post Apprentice.

Myles or Neil for me, by a margin.

Do you think we may have a repeat of Katie Hopkins with her then? Try to get as far as she can, and then walk when it looks like she may actually win?

I like Luisa, but I don't really understand why she wants an investment. She has three businesses already, surely that's enough to be going along with?

It was a major part of the task story. it needed signposting. Doing it that way got a good reaction.

It has no significance for Jason's chances - its just a pat on the back for showing some ability that other people have much more of.

She gets money to expand whichever business she wants to build .Plus publicity - which is free advertising, and more money from all the media attention that comes with winning. She's also shown she can set up and run something viable (figures willing) That doesn't help Uzma or Natalie when they go, but its an advantage over everyone who just has an idea in the final.

so who do you think WILL win?

It pains me to say this as he's a colossal, personality bereft, self-obsessed, egotistical prick but Neil is definitely the most competent so far.

It's surely his to throw away?

Ah the Katie Hopkins walk moment- that was genuinely hilarious and the only time I can remember a contestant actually taking control and taking the decision out of Sugar's hands!

Re Luisa I'm not sure she would walk like Katie did. I reckon she'll try and go as far as she can and get as much exposure as possible.
Even if she wins I don't see her and LAS working together as partners for a sustained period of time. Don't ask me why, I just get that feeling!

I agree with this. I don't like him at all as a person but he's the only real candidate for me.

But then one of the others could have a brilliant business plan and it doesn't really matter how badly they f up if AS has already decided it;s a goer

Luisa - It is slowly being set up for her to move from anti-heroine in the Apprentice winner.

Lord Sugar definitely likes her, despite trying to appear not to & even Karren, who was previously very abrasive towards her is now warming to her.

Do people like that usually win though? People with redemption arcs often do quite well, but don't win. Saira Khan, Jo Cameron, Tre Azam, Jadine Johnson, Claire Young, Debra Barr, Tim Ankers, Joanna Riley, James McCullagh, Jenna Whittingham, Adam Corbally...

Francesca added cooking to her list of incompetencies. Myles once again made the wrong call and surely cannot win this.

Luisa moved up a notch, and Leah perhaps down, if it appears the others do not take her seriously. For my money, she's the best, but they are playing for Lord Sugar's money. Jordan has a similar credibility problem.

Really, it still looks like Neil's to lose.

Neil > Jordan > Myles
Leah = Luisa > Francesca
