Which do you prefer - Normal BB with civilians or Celebrity BB with celebrities (or zelebrities)

If you would be the deciding factor (ie: executive producer of BB), which one would you axe/end/cancel?

Or do you prefer both and would want to save/keep them both intact and renew them?

I would probably keep both of them intact. Purely because they (if i recall) bring more ratings to C5, than most of the other programs they show ie: it´s a high rated show on C5 standards.

It's a boring answer but they each have their pros and cons.

Normal BB for me but dont want either to be axed. I do enjoy CBB as well. I just see them as different beasts.

CBB is a nice filler until the 'proper' BB gets going

Normal BB but CBB can be very good like this year with Heidi & Spencer

I wish CBB was replaced with a BBUS/CAN game format for BBUK. As a trail run. it'd be amazing! And still do Normal BB in the summer.

I love both of them but I do prefer BB to CBB... Also I would just want 1 CBB a year rather than 2.. They should focus on the quality..

Normal, but i like both.

Regular has a much bigger atmosphere for me, CBB feels kinda flat usually.

Normal & want CBB Axed as its just full of Z listers trying to get back into the spotlight. People have complained for years now since its moved to C5 about how they fill normal BB with wannabes etc.

Thats all CBB is full of has beens that wanna get the spotlight back

I like Both, but the normal BB is longer.

Both, but sometimes CBB is a bit mild, in that celebs are worried about their reputations and try to refrain from causing trouble.

You don't get that in the 'normal' one.

I prefer normal Big Brother, but the success of Celebrity Big Brother is probably one of the main reasons that Channel 5 are still able to do Big Brother so I'd keep both, just get rid of the summer CBB!

Normal BB is way better and I'm way more invested in it, however I don't want CBB axed.

I just don't want them to start putting all their efforts into the celeb version, if they do then I'll stop watching altogether.

I tend to just dip in and out of CBB depending on who the celebrities are, in fact I didn't watch it at all when Jedward were there.

I voted 'other' because I don't want either of them scrapped.

In C4 days I much preferred BB and rarely watched CBB which seemed so false by comparison.
But since the move to C5, BB has appeared more contrived, and the edit no longer has the control of live feed to prevent totally unfair representation - so both seem false. On C5 I have found CBB more fun, perhaps because there was never any pretence of being anything other than cheap entertainment with come-back or z-lister hopefuls.
BB itself used to be fascinating as relationships between unknowns unfolded, with the audience having no prior knowledge of their personalities - but the C5 houses have been less balanced, especially BB12. Maybe this year...

I wouldn't exactly like to axe CBB, but I vastly prefer BB so chose that option to express the preference.

I prefer normal, but both have their good points so I wouldn't axe either.

However, I think CBB should be on less. It's just overkill at the moment.

i don't even consider the celebrity version as included.
it's just something added, after... as a bonus sort of like the bonus features on a blu-ray where they show some gag reels, deleted scenes.

i wouldn't care if it went or stayed.
the only one that matters to me is the main version.

however, i will say that the celebrity big brother with the shannon twins and michael madsen was brilliant, and i did enjoy that one alot which is unusual, as i don't normally enjoy the celeb one as much as that.

but at the end of the day if i were to analyze it, i would be ok with the celeb version being nonexistent.

I didn't watch BB12 or the CBB with Paddy as the winner at all and I don't feel that I missed anything.
I found BB13 very unpleasant to watch at times but I was very glad at the winner and the runners up.
I will watch BB this time but I am not really that excited anymore.I used to get really involved in the C4 series.

Prefer Celebrity, but that doesn't mean I want Regular axed. I don't understand why preferring one means you want the other axed.

The regular series, but I don't want CBB to be axed. Maybe get rid of the summer CBB. There is no need for a CBB after the regular series.

i can only speak for myself, the reason i would want that is because i'm thinking that would free up focus and resource for the main version.

maybe it doesn't have any effect? not sure... but in my view i'd like to see all the focus and resources and attention go toward the main version, which is why i wouldn't be opposed to the celeb version being axed.
unless that had no impact whatsoever, but when they're paying people like speidi 500k or something? i forget how much but it was alot, i can't imagine that not having some effect.
and the time and effort it takes to get celebs and stuff, maybe if that time and effort was spent toward the main version there would be improvements.
