Just catching up, but this is probably the highlight of the semi finals so far for me.

Thought that was tasteless, but I thought he was referring to the fact that Amanda had buzzed "a magic act before he had even finished".

That was the one question that none of the judges that buzzed even bothered to ponder. The trick itself was excellent. The only thing wrong with the act was the pointless additions that BGT producers no doubt imposed on the poor guy. Had he been left alone to do his act without the extra on-stage nonsense, he would have succeeded.

You could see the mirror under the bed, it was a simple end of the pier Trick.
Check out Chris Angel, on utube on his pulling a girl apart on a park bench, it a real heart stopping trick, and the sort of trick that done these days.
If he made Alesha magically vanish, to be replaced by any inanimate object, the judging panel would be vastly improved.

Yes this is the problem, many people know how classic illusions are done. People like Derren Brown have really taken it up a notch and these stage shows look terribly old fashioned and boring.
Stevie Pink was good the first time. I wonder if the producers wanted that good looking young magician in the final and not him?

THIS and then some ^^^^ Like X Factor, once producers get their mucky paws on some contestants they screw up by over production!!
