I'm pleased he was in the top three, and I think he was pleased too. It seemed inevitable that Asanda would be in the final.

Leona Lewis sings it better than both; those versions were heavily based on hers(her live one in particular). With that said, I thought he sang it really well and was unlucky to be in quite a strong semi-final, especially compared to the previous ones.
He was my favourite as well. Glad he was in the top 3. I don't know why Simon was surprised at that. Alex has a fantastic voice and a very likeable personality, so why wouldn't he prove popular with the voting public?

Leona's Diva performance of it is incredible, he did a good job though.
