on todays bgmt on a phonecall, basically sharon said that simon said that she should be on the bgt panel as well as xf, insinuating amanda get the boot

amanda was clearly gutted, and simon kept winding her up by repeatedly saying you know shes joking don't you!

Sharon is awful, and that immaturity just proves it. Ffs why are they re-employing this idiot on X Factor? She was crap the first time round and I can't see it being any different this time either.

Not 100% sure but firstly she asked Simon if he was pleased she was returning to X Factor & then she kind of implied he'd also asked her to do BGT, that was the way I took it anyway.

Interesting.... Amanda had no competition female wise on that panel for years..... and then Alesha comes along and really has blown her out of the water. Even in the fashion stakes... she is very much second fiddle very night to Alesha I can't see Sharon coming out with that if Simon did not say it.... so it shows you they are thinking about it. I would not be one bit surprised if they retire Amanda off the panel next year.

Agree rubbish mentor & even worse a nasty bully, why they've taken her back is beyond me. There are hundreds of people who would do a better, professional job than that old trout.

Judging by Simon's squirming there could be some truth in it but for Sharon Osbourne to announce it like that just shows what a nasty piece of work she is

I think Amanda is the Louis Walsh of Britains Got Talent. If she left, it wouldn't feel the same, and I dont think she will be given the boot.

I couldn't hear what Sharon was saying during BGMT. But it did seem awkward.

As much as people give Amanda a hard time, I feel she gives the show a bit of consistency; a bit like Louis Walsh on XF. I don't mind her.

They must have been desperate and obviously couldn't find anyone else to do it. if she hadn't been quite so vile the first time round or if she'd been a good mentor I might understand the decision to have her back. I remember in the first series she had such blatant favouritism towards Tabby she didn't give a toss about her other acts. Shame really as I thought Cassie was the best act in Sharon's category.
She was just awful, I'm sure she was drunk during some of the live shows and her histrionics were just appalling. The fact she will be paid over 1 million to be a so called judge is pitiful.

It was just a joke! That said, there was alot of talk that Amanda wouldn't be back this year. Of the four David is my least favorite judge.

I agree. I like Amanda and would certainly not want her replaced with Sharon O that's for sure.

I thought Sharon was joking or just being a bit strange, perhaps tipsy, but Simons face looked really uncomfortable - he cannot tell a convincing lie and Amanda actually looked quite annoyed - maybe she knew her job might have been on the line this year and is sensitive about it, felt tense between the two of them.
