What do you do then with an act like (picking just one example) Diversity? You can't deny they probably got some 'cute kids' votes for Perri and the other one (I've forgotten his name) and there were others in the group under 16. So do they go into the kids or adults one?

It's the same with singers - you can say that classical acts / 'different' are OK to go on BGT but pop acts aren't. That's very hard to police because it's not clearly enough defined.

The thing is, singers (and dancers for that matter) are usually part of a variety performance, so it wouldn't be realistic to ditch either.. but certainly less of them and more of the other types of act would be welcome.
