Samsung v200 problem

my sisters v200 has been having a problem, randomly when i shut the flip, the phone switchs off, i rang orange the 1st time and they exchanged the phone, now its started happening to the new one aswell, does anybody know why this is???.

Its a software issue with the phone, which on latest versions has been fixed. Ring Orange and ask them to send you a new one, rather than one from refurbished stock which may use old version of software.

Alternatively ring samsung service and explain the problem and they will be able to fix it and give you an address to send the phone to for free repair providing its under warranty.

cheers, would it be possible to flash it my self???? i have the cable that came with the phone, its over a year old.

Serial Cable yes. USB no.

There are only 3 buttons, pretty obvious really.

Backup, Flash and Verify.

Backup = backup your firmware
Flash = Flash your firmware
Verify = Verify that the flash file matches your HID.
