I am aware that there has probably been similar polls to this one in the past, but I have seen none lately, so why not a favourite series poll in the run up to BB14?

So what is your favourite BB series? Mine is BB6. Not a dull episode in the series, lots of interesting characters and always a storyline going on. Brilliant housemates in Makosi, Science, Kemal and Derek IMO.

BB7 is a close second because of the best housemate of all time (in my opinion) Nikki and some great storylines and housemates.

Mine is BB6 too, loved Craig,Science and Kemal!

Six is my favourite even though it was hard watching it sometimes.
I disliked Derek and still do to this day,horrible man.

Science was my favourite.

Big Brother 2, very fond memories of it as it was my first one.

5,6,7 for me. i voted for 6 though.

I think the Makosi/Craig/Anthony & Nikki/Aisleyne/Grace series' were the peak of Big Brother.

So its hard to choose between those two.

BB7 for me.

Very difficult. I always swap between BB3 and BB5, with BB6 and BB9 always in 3rd and 4th. At the moment, BB3.

I find it strange that BB6 and BB7 are always so highly acclaimed on here, while the main reason for people not liking BB13 so much is nastiness.

BB7 for me by a long way. BB5 usually wins this sort of poll on here, so i am surprised by its slow start, expect it to pick up though and win again - vastly overated though it is

BB9 by miles

BB6 for me.

Then it's a hard call between, 3, 5, and 9.

BB6. Every housemate from that series was entertaining in some sort of way.

BB5 - the best line-up featuring some of the greatest housemates ever, the best tasks, the best twists, the perfect length, my fave winner, the most memorable moments, best eviction interviews and VTs, and it practically saved the BB franchise from possible doom.

BB11 only because I started watching it that series

5,6 & 7 are my complete faves! So hard to pick between the 3, I think mine goes: 6 > 5 > 7 though. Because in 5, Emma & Marco went too early . Whereas in 6, all the entertaining housemates made it past the halfway mark. And I think the main reason I like 7 so much is solely because of Nikki

(Only seen from BB5 onwards, I'm sure BB2 & BB3 are great from what I've heard)
For me: BB6 > BB5 > BB7 > BB10 > BB13 > BB9 > BB12 >BB8 > BB11

BB6 also had humour, great tasks, well executed twists and the characters were far more interesting than the BB13 ones.

As for BB7, I didn't find it particularly nasty apart from some of the stuff in the first half of the series.

BB5 for me, although my favourite ever HM was Science from BB6.

BB3 was also a classic.

Yep, me too. Best, most surprising winner, funniest tasks of the lot - eating the chilli peppers, the shock tasks - and every overconfident, smug nasty piece of work sent packing week in, week out. Good times.

Amazing how BB6 get's so much more love as times go by.

Or maybe not, because at the time it was almost unwatchable IMHO. Worst series ever by a country mile.

I voted for series 5. I absolutely loved it. By far the series that entertained me the most. Mind you, there hasn't been a series I didn't enjoy. I even liked 4!

BB6, absolutely loved Science & Makosi but BB7 was so amazing as well

BB13 only because I started watching from BB12. And I LOVED BB13!

I must admit to being surprised at how well BB6 is doing, i thought it wasnt at all well liked on here I've certainly read some very harsh criticism of it from time to time on here! I didnt mind it and it was certainly part of the golden era, but it just lacked that x factor that would rate it as a classic for me
