Nottingham Retune - now getting BBC Yorkshire as channel 1

01-06-2013
I have a PVR 9200T
We had to do a retune for East Midlands.
On re-searching for the channels,
My channel 1 is now BBC South Yorkshire, with a poor signal
and BBC East Midlands is now at 801

It has also found 3 instances of several channels, presumably from several transmitters, so the guide has got very large
Is it possible to stop it finding signals from different transmitters ? or move the channels around in the list - I know you can delete them

any help appreciated

(My PC-TV card lets you select one transmitter )

You need to do a manual tune using Biggles instructions at http://myhumax.org/forum/topic/week-...week#post-7097

Thanks, that looks useful

I agree with comments seen elsewhere about pinning this at the top
I could have done with the Biggles manual tune information years ago

Ever since DSO this has been a problem in South Notts. Even with the aerial pointing towards Waltham, the signals from Belmont and Sutton Coldfield are still strong enough to be registered by the PVR. The manual retune is the only way to get what you want - Waltham only.

I would check the ITV settings as well. You may be getting Calendar and/or ITV News Central for the West Midlands rather than East Midlands. But if you do the manual retune this wont be a problem!

I'm mid way between Nottingham and Derby with my bedroom set-up tuned to Waltham, this time an Automatic Search worked for me.
