Digital Street - Episode 8

Glenda is sitting in the pub downing a vodka and lemon when she hears the door open from upstairs. Creaking ever so loudly, she simply ignores it and drinks once again. When her glass is empty, she gets up and sees Tim coming down the stairs with a few bank statements in his hand. Glenda walks up to him, asking him what he's doing with them but he shrugs and walks off. Glenda then puts her glass down and follows him. Tim starts walking faster and realises Glenda is following him but stops as he pants. Glenda catches up to him and takes the statements. She tells him its game over before running off.

Alex and Josh are too busy kissing in the salon's cupboard when Alex hears a shuffling type noise outside, stopping briefly. Josh is confused and so Alex walks out and sees Mia Brookes going through the files of the salon. Alex nearly tries to creep up on her when he hears footsteps. Mia turns around, shocked that Alex is there and stops going through the files. Alfie, her son comes up in front of her and she scoops him up. "Mia, what are you doing here?" he asks. "I fired you remember?" He tells her and she sighs, slumping down on a chair. "I know, I just thought I could rob you for payback." Alex is shocked but realises that he was hasty in firing her so he offers her the job back. She's just about to accept it when Josh comes up behind Alex with a big smile on his face. "Mia?" He stammers.

Tracy is finally let out of the hospital and is just about to leave her bed when the door opens. Paul is stood there with his drip and a book in his right hand...

Vanessa Heir and Nigel Harman talk Tracy and Paul plot

Fans have been eagerly tuning into Digital Street to see the climax in Tracy and Paul Johnson's latest storyline.

Tracy is having a tough time, is it going to get better now?

Vanessa: It's really interesting to hear that because people have asked me this and all I can say is, 'Wait and see!'. The plot has only started so nowhere beyond ending.

Paul's arrival was intriguing but gave us an insight into the relationship between him and Tracy

Nigel: That was my favourite bit to film. It shows that Tracy and him don't have a strong relationship and kind of hinted at their current storyline.

Are they separated?

Vanessa: Not quite but they aren't together cos of Paul's mistress.

Nigel: It is complicated.

Paul has a son doesn't he?

Nigel: Yeah he does but they don't always get along. That's why he favours Tracy over him.

Does he save Tracy?

Vanessa: His arrival has something to do with it but he is oblivious to what Paul is doing.

What happens next?

Vanessa: All I can say is that something happens that initially was meant to involve Tracy and Paul that will happen to the whole of Digital Street.

Co executive producer of Digital Street teases big explosion

Co executive producer of Digital Street MakingAPoint has revealed that the storyline between Tracy and Paul will reach a climax pretty soon.

"There will be an explosion at the pub where Tracy has become Paul's hostage. At first it isn't so bad but then something explodes and spreads to the rest of the houses and businesses and one person's life will be in danger. One character will die."

This storyline is set to air soon but has no air date as of yet to keep viewers at bay.

Digital Street - Episode 9

The episode begins with the song 'Love Me Again' by John Newman playing in the background as Josh enters Alex's lounge, holding his hand slightly as Alex sighs, seeing a letter addressed to him in his hand. Next we can see Scarlett waking up in a dark cold room next to Luke who puts his arm around her. She gets up and realises where she is. Finally, the music fades and the scene cuts to Tracy and Paul in the hospital where Paul has his hand around her mouth with Tracy making a loud muffled noise. Paul ignores her and keeps his hand over her mouth as his phone goes off. Paul tells Tracy that she mustn't move while he answers his phone and she nods, petrified of what he could do if she did. Getting his phone out of his pocket, he answers it and sits on Tracy's hospital bed, grinning from ear to ear. Once the call ends, Paul gets up and pushes Tracy on the floor. With Tracy screaming for help, he offers her a deal. In order to escape, Paul tells Tracy that they should divorce and she should hand over the pub to him, otherwise he'd kill her. Tracy initially refuses and starts crying, wiping her tears along the way. She tells him that she could never do that. Paul starts coming towards her but as soon as he could do anything, Tracy quickly presses the nurses buzzer and dashes out, leaving Paul to do some explaining about why he is in Tracy's bed and where she's gone.

Scarlett starts wondering around the dark room as she sees Luke staring right at her, laughing at her antics. When she sits down beside him, she asks the all important question of why is she there. Luke tells her that Jordan punched her really hard and conked her right out so in order to protect his best friend, Luke took her here. Scarlett hugs him and tells him that he saved her life. Luke's eyes dart around the room and he feels a pang in his heart - he's just lied that his best friend punched her when in fact Luke has just raped her but she seems to have forgotten everything. Scarlett thanks him once more and squeezes his hand, She tells him that they should both avoid Jordan from now on. Luke then tells her that he is in fact trouble and stole his 'girlfriend', Jorgie away from him. Scarlett interrupts and says Jordan was dating her but Luke corrects her and says it was the other way round. There is a moment of silence in the air and when the two look into each other's eyes, Scarlett kisses Luke hungrily and the two start undressing each other as the camera pans away.

Josh hands Alex a cup of tea as he hugs him slightly, telling him that everything will be okay. Alex shrugs him off and tells him that it won't be now that Mia has returned. At that point, Mia enters the lounge and sits down beside the two. Pulling her suitcase behind her, she tells Alex that its clear that he doesn't really want her that and so she tells him she's leaving. Alex says no and that he's happy for her to stay, it's just the wages he has to sort out. The room goes quiet but not for long as Alfie runs into his mum's arms as Mia and Josh both look at each other.

Digital Spy can officially reveal that Digital Street will air a special episode on Monday which is an hour long. This episode replaces the Tuesday episode for one day only and episodes resume normally on Thursday.

"We've done this due to a character arriving on the street, the start of a blackmailing storyline and a build up to an existing storyline." MakingAPoint revealed.

That's good, it works well. I did this little change over because of some of Digital Street's storylines and because our soap needs a good episode for the awards and I thought this move would be perfect.

Digital Street - Episode 10

This episode is an hour long and is very detailed but please do read it regardless of it being long, it isn't boring

The episode begins with the song ‘I Need Your Love’ by Calvin Harris ft. Ellie Goulding playing in the background. Firstly we can see Tracy walking out of the hospital with a bag in her hand as she makes her way back to Digital Street. She stares at the pub before entering and immediately Glenda hugs her. Next we can see Alex cooking over a stove, tasting the food as he goes along. Coming up behind Alex, Josh kisses him and the two move away from the stove. Finally we can see Scarlett in Luke’s arms as the music fades away. Scarlett gets up and suggests to Luke that they finally get out of the shed – much to Luke’s dismay. Luke shrugs and says that they can continue being like this until they get caught out. Scarlett lies down again and rolls over to the opposite side of where Luke is.

Sighing, she takes a deep breath and cannot understand why Jordan would punch her. When it all adds up, she realises she’s a prisoner here and gets up again, running straight away. Luke follows her and stops her, telling her that she can’t possibly leave. Luke kisses her on the lips but Scarlett pulls away and runs straight home. Banging on the door, she cries for help and Tyler opens the door, comforting his sister. Sobbing for help, he takes her in the lounge where Jason emerges and hugs his daughter. Scarlett tells the two everything and Jason storms out, pulling out a gun. All he shouts is “Where is Luke?” as he walks down the street. Scarlett pulls him back and tells him he can’t kill Luke but Jason insists and carries on. Scarlett starts crying again and its adamant that she cares for him.

At Josh's house, Mia is sat on the couch when Alfie runs into her arms. She picks him up and instantly he says “Daddy!” which makes Mia confused. Mia puts him beside her and asks why is he saying that. Alfie says he saw Daddy and Mia peers in Alex’s bedroom from afar where he can see Josh reading a book. Mia then recalls showing a picture of Josh and telling Alfie that was Daddy. Mia tells Alfie to stay seated as she walks into the bedroom, shutting the door. Grabbing a chair near her, she sits on it and watches Josh shift about. When he closes the book, he gets up and notices Mia.

There’s a moment of silence but Mia breaks it. “He knows,” she says bluntly but Josh is confused and thinks she’s told Alex. He starts banging his head across the wall and cries, realising that if Alex ever knows, it will be the end of them. “And he called you Daddy,” Mia says. Josh then realises that she means Alfie and he turns around. He sighs and slumps near Mia. Josh tells Mia that she cannot tell Alex because it would mean that he betrayed him but Mia thinks that he should know. The pair begin arguing and it’s clear that they won’t ever agree on the right solution. Mia asks Josh for cash in favour of her silence but Josh bides his time and tells her that he’s broke. Mia starts smirking and stands up, fixing her hair. “I’ll have to tell him then,” she smiles and Josh immediately gets up.

“How much?” he asks. Mia starts counting her fingers and says,” Fifty grand and I’ll get out of here.” Josh gulps and refuses and starts to leave the room when Mia stops him. “Or you sleep with me.” Her eyes twinkle and Josh gasps. “I’m gay. Please Mia, I can't do this to Alex! You'll have to leave." and he ushers her out. They begin shouting at each other and Josh gives in, feeling sick. The two undress each other and lie down on the bed. Alfie is sat on the couch so Mia snuggles up to Josh but he pushes her away. The door is wide open when Katie, Josh’s wife lets herself in and gets the shock of her life. “Josh?” she asks, looking at Mia and Josh. “It’s not what it looks like,” Josh whimpers.

Tracy puts her bag down on her bed and starts to relax on the bed but stops when she hears the door handle being turned. Fearing for the worst, she grabs a cushion to protect herself. When the door opens fully, Paul is stood there smirking and holds a gun in his hand. Immediately Tracy starts backing up and tries to climb out of the roof when Paul grabs her by the throat, strangling her in the process. Tracy makes a muffled noise and tries to get away but Paul blocks her path and threatens to kill her if she tells anyone about what has just happened. He finally lets her but she barely reaches the door when he triggers the gun, pulling it back and shooting her in the process. Tracy’s body falls down and Paul carries her down to the basement where he lies her down as she awakens. Her eyes open and she’s confused.

A light is visible from afar and she recalls that she’s in the pub’s basement where it is empty and quiet. Paul sits next to her and squeezes her hand tight, informing her that she has to stay here and can only move if he tells her so. He gives her a bucket and climbs up the stairs, shutting the door behind him and locking it. A terrified Tracy throws the bucket angrily and starts shouting. She can hear Paul shouting at her, “You can’t get out. Oh well!” before he walks off laughing. Tracy sobs and wonders where her life went wrong. She comes to a halt and knows that Paul ruined her life. At that moment, blood pours out of her stomach and she looks down and sees that she has been stabbed. Tracy runs up to the door, banging on it ferociously demanding to be let out. But it is no use as nobody can hear her...

Tracy walks away from the door and to the only chair in the basement as she can hear Glenda speaking to Paul about Tracy. Tracy perks up and thinks Paul tells her about Tracy being in the basement but instead he says he doesn’t know and Tracy cries again, distraught that she may not be able to get out ever.

Continues Thursday 7th November 2013.
