Is Luisa just in for fame or does she want to win

I like Luisa and I hope she wins however on a lot of other sites including the front of here they seem to think this.

I think her ordinary girl does business is working a treat so far.

Although I know a lot of people think she will be in Nuts will her tits out as soon as its done.

She is in it for the fame. She is so fame hungry although she did appear to calm down a bit in the last episode or two.

But good for her, she knows how to do it well. She seems like Katie Price version 2 and Amy Childs version 2. Does the whole bimbo act but knows exactly what she wants. I can see her being in loads of tabloids and having column after column in women's weeklies.

No different to what thousands of girls get up to on holiday every year, particularly in places like Magaluf, Kavos etc.
I tried to watch that documentary about Magaluf but had to stop it was just sickening .

She does my head in, running around the house in the morning, like a little kid, anyone would think she was on BB.

I've always assumed that Luisa is playing a game where her definition of 'winning' is all about exposure (not *that* kind of exposure, although ...) and not about going into business with Sugar. Her whole persona in the programme seems to be geared towards that, from her early controversial comments to ensure she gets noticed (her Duracell bunny soundbite - which to be fair was very good - and her put-down of Leah as being "just a doctor"), her prattling on about packing bikinis and so on.

If that's the case, then good luck to her. She's playing the game as well as anyone and I wouldn't necessarily criticise her for that (although I do find her to be one of the less watchable contestants, personally).

But if she is being serious about wanting to win the show, then stuff like those photos and stories won't help her one little bit. The producers do all manner of background checks - references, criminal record checks, general searches - into the finalists to ensure Sugar doesn't go into business with a serial fraudster, say, or someone who might later cast him in a negative light. Even then, that hasn't helped him with winners such as Michelle, Yasmina and Stella having their own ultimate agendas.

So what Sugar will think about Luisa's past - even though she is far from the first 20-something to have done stuff like this - will certainly not help her cause.

"I have the energy of a Duracell bunny, sex appeal of Jessica Rabbit and a brain like Einstein."

Sorry, it fails for me because the first two are rabbits but Einstein was the dog in Back to the Future; or perhaps Luisa meant the genius physicist. Either way, she needed a third rabbit.

The brains of Bugs Bunny? Ah, but then the word bunny is repeated which spoils it. Who said marketing was easy? Remarkably, there is a Wikipedia page listing fictional rabbits.

You're right, of course, it would have worked better with a third rabbit. But even so, still the most memorable introductory soundbite of this series for me.

I've not tried it myself but friends tell me sex can be rather fun, so we must not be too eager to condemn those who indulge.

Both Michelle and Stella found the job wasn't as good as was hoped. Michelle's was some recycling thing which, when she ran the numbers, just didn't think was viable. In addition she had a personal tragedy so they parted ways. I highly doubt she had planned any of it. I doubt the other two were following hidden agendas either.

The losing finalists often go on to exploit their new high profile, but I don't see that as their initial goal. For example, Ruth Badger who lost to Michelle, did a lot of media appearances and ended up with her own TV show. I doubt it was her initial plan; she surely wanted to win, but having come second, she might as well take advantage of whatever opportunities arose.

I'd hesitate before saying anyone was in The Apprentice for fame. It's a high-risk strategy as you have no control over how you are edited.

Depends how worried about PR he is - I doubt if he's shallow enough to worry much. . We have no idea what anyone else on the show has done, and she hasn't done anything lots of people have. Much of the critique of Luisa basically comes down to her being from Essex, and looking and sounding like somone who comes from Essex.

His question should be quite simple. Who has a potentially successful business project, and has shpwn the business skills needed to accomplish it. There's not many contestants currently making progress in that race, and Luisa is one of them.

I don't know what agendas Michelle and Yasmina supposedly had. The only person credibly suggested to have another agenda in the show was Katie. Those two are both very succesful business women - unless you expect business women to live like nuns and never have children. Michelle was given a non viable project and nothing to replace it, Stella argued she wasn't given a real job at all. There's nothing wrong there either.

I would say one of the most successful was Saira Khan , runner-up from series one . She has a successful tv career as well as running her own business .
Watching Saira on the Apprentice I never thought she would become so successful.

Sorry, I didn't mean anything negative or pre-planned about what Michelle and Stella did - hence 'ultimate' rather than 'hidden' agenda.

I agree that Luisa hasn't done anything lots of others haven't done, but equally not everyone is applying for a £250k investment, so different standards potentially apply.

That probably makes Luisa's soundbite even worse, though.

It might have created the problem of fame-hungry applicants when in the first series, James, Paul and Saira were each recruited as radio or television presenters. James and Saira are still on LBC and CBBC respectively.
