6 Of The 10 Finalists Are Singers...

WTH this is suppose to be a variety show not a singing show some of the blame has to fall on the voting public

I think if the judges didn't keep putting kids through who sing the same obvious songs then it wouldn't get this far. Many people can sing and sing in tune but this show gives the impression it's something fresh and unique.

It's very sad that real talent that is unique and impressive is ignored merely because a person can sing to a backing track.

should've put some of the kid singers on the same night

The ventriliquist tonight would have made a much better finalist imo
I think Jordan was really helped by the female vote

That's shocking. They're supposed to be competing for a place at the Royal Variety Performance..The key word there is going un noticed.

and there will already be several singers on the actual show anyway

It really annoys me that people few singing as the ultimate talent, it's not even in the top 10. If it was such a great talent to have then why can so many people do it ?

I don't understand this idea of grouping "singers" together as if they're all the same

Well there isn't that much difference, they all sing crappy songs.

I knew he was going to go with Jordan, I liked Jordan as well but the final has so many singers already and this is BGT the variety show not X Factor. . Hoping he gets the wildcard if Aaron Crow can't get it.I do like Jordan I'd rather he was on a different semi final. Jordans one of my favourite out of all the singers. Just a shame he was up against Steve.

It's just so annoying the way singers are getting the most votes which is why singers need to be on the one night to prevent it. Simon clearly prefers the singing acts.

6 out of 10 are singing acts.
5 out of 10 are children acts.

One place reserved the wildcard entry which wouldn't surprise me to turn out to be a child singer.

That's the thing with singers, they sing the songs we are already familiar with.
So when you have 6 out of 10 acts being made up of singers it creates an imbalance which goes against the spirit of variety and has more in common with The X Factor.

Non-singing variety acts have the capacity to offer us something new and fresh which we haven't ever seen before.

3 out of 10 are young female singers.

...and how many dancers?

It amazing that any talent slipped through!

Francine & Attraction are the only acts in the final who aren't children or singers. I really wish James Moore, the ventriloquist or Joseph had have got through instead of some of the singers.

There is no way someone like Jordan qualifies as a "variety" act.....arguably The Lumineers aren't one either.
