Can anyone explain to me why we have to wait one week for the final when last year the final followed the last semi-final show. I'm pretty sure it did.

Is this a new thing? Why is the final next week and not tomorrow?

It's all changed this year anyway. Last year the semi finals were Monday to Friday and the final on Saturday.

Give everyone a chance to rehearse.

I assumed it was because we missed a semi final on Wed due to the football!

Apparently it was due to be tomorrow, but ITV forgot that there was another football match tomorrow night. Or at least, that's what someone said in another thread on here.

It's been on almost all week; I need a rest!

I think it's better to have it a week later, I've never thought it fair that those who went through on the 1st semi final have more time to prepare than those that went through on the last semi. At least now they've all got reasonable prep time
