Hi,
One of the best features (IMO) of Google Now is the card that lets you know what time you need to leave by to get to your next appointment's destination on time. Unfortunately, mine has been playing up recently and basically failing to bring up that card until I'm halfway to where I am going anyway.
For instance, today I had an appointment at 9pm, which meant leaving my house no later than 8:40pm. As you can see here, the notification finally came through 8:57pm, telling me I need to leave by 12 minutes previous to arrive on time. It has happened a couple of other times recently too, and each time it has been when I've been going to somewhere from home - it's almost as if my phone doesn't "know" it's at home, but location reporting is definitely enabled and location history shows I was at home whenever I was at home, so I'm a bit stumped.
Obviously I don't sit and wait for my phone to tell me I need to leave when I have an appointment, but it's disappointing that this feature is playing up as (a) it's such a neat feature, but also (b) it generally saves me having to do a traffic check before leaving because the calculated time has already taken that into account. So, is this happening to anybody else? I may clear out the cache and data at some point to see if that fixes things, but I'd rather not do this if I could avoid it.
Thanks.
