I've been watching this again recently, and can't for the life of me work out why she was so disliked? The psych team always shot her down, and BBLB were so against her.

Nothing. She did nothing wrong. She was treated unfairly inside and outside because she was a pretty girl.

It was the way she just sacrificed all of the Halfway Housemates to save herself and to allow her to move into the main house. I remember her saying "they should be up for the public vote, they have nothing to offer as housemates", and most of the halfway housemates were mad at her because they had all started the journey together and found it annoying that she didn't stick up for them as they were in the same position.

In a word, she did Liam.

She flirted with the "Kind Hearted Handsome" one who a lot of girls may have had a crush on. Green eyed monster then reared its ugly head from voters and she went out.

What she did wrong in my eyes was criticize Jonty

That was very, very wrong.

Still, she handled Liam's boorish behaviour very gracefully and deserved a lot more praise for that than she got.

That was certainly a sad reflection on the usual BB viewers way of thinking - the male is the innocent victim acting on genuine feelings while the girl is the evil temptress.
But Liam was also known to the viewers and other housemates for many weeks beforehand, while Amy was new and only seemed to endear herself to a select few (only Liam, Brian and Samanda I think).

I mean all the Halfway Housemates nominated eachother as soon as possible, which only made things worse. The other housemates were all pretty close anyway (most of the combative characters had gone by this point) so it seems like they all tried to ditch eachother to win favour.

Though I remember being frustrated that Gerry (the only non-Halfway Housemate to receive any nominations) was 1 nomination away from being up and although he probably wouldn't have gone against Amy it would still have been funny to have him lumbered in with them.

Her entrance into the was spectacularly misjudged if she wanted to be popular with the public. However, it was perfect if you wanted a lads mag payday.

What did she say to / about Jonty?

She did little wrong really. I don't know what she said about Jonty, maybe that he was a little weird. Which he was tbf. Its annoying when HM's are disliked because they do not share the forums /Fm's adoration of another HM's. They are entitled to their own opinions and dislikes.

She got with Liams wings of steel and incurred the wrath of kitchen witch Ma Baker.

This is true, but by this point Liam unless im mistaken was favourite to win. So her being with Liam or anyone in an argument with him would have suffered badly.



Essentially yeah! I don't remember the exact phrases but during her time in the house when they were all still in the half way house, she really went to town on calling Jonty weird and things. She came off like she was trying to bad mouth an older gentleman who seemed harmless at the time.

Im not sure if this was before or after Jonty had his time in the house.

She was not the worst to come out of BB8 by a long shot, I think her situations with Liam and Jonty put her in a bad light with 2 fan favourites at the time.

The fact she was a Glamour Model didn't help her case. I always felt she would have done anything to get into the house. Liam should have came out of it looking bad too as he seem to have his way with her then discard her and made her stay miserable but BB edit made her out to be a bit of a slapper. Her behaviour with Jonty really didn't help her too
