It's between these two:

Samsung UE39F5300

Can't find any reviews online. Manly gonna be used as a home theatre with my pc hooked up to it, maybe a bit of pc gaming too

Any advise would be great

Do you want a Smart TV or not? If yes, then the Samsung or:

Panasonic Viera TX-L39E6B

Not bothered about smart TV. Just really want to know which panel is better for hooking a pc up to.

If you are going to use your TV as a "super PC monitor" none of the 39" models have really good results they are just adequate .

Take a look at Pana 42et60 , its vastly superior to 42e6 which in turn is better than any 39in screen .

A lot of people have not cottoned on to the fact that all budget TV's are compromised or downgraded by comparison to models that were around just a few years ago .

I'm hoping to get the 47" version of that TV you mentioned (the ET60) but what exactly makes it much better? I'm leaning towards this LED but can get very confused. Is it the build of panel? Further complicated by the fact other companies can make the panels inside the TV.

This tells part of the story , but go and look in a pana dealer with your own eyes - its so obvious !
