But yeah, I didn't like how they handled the deli fallout, as much as I love the fact it's over. That's more Ste's business symbolically and legally than Doug's, he doesn't just get to say what he has. They've got more to deal with there.

Subtitles say "I've just lost ev...I've lost everything." Although it didn't really sound like it.

I'm desperate for Ste to ask Doug where he thinks Brendan got the money for the deli in the first place. There's so much he could have said to wipe that pious expression off Doug 'I put everything I had into this business, everything that your lover gave us and that I conned out of my parents, plus my marginal business expertise that had previously failed to earn me a dime in my life' Carter's face.
