Nice Restaurant In London?
Looking to take my mum and dad out for dinner on Father's Day...can anyone recommend anywhere in London? I live in London, but really want something a bit different rather than our usual local restaurants. I was looking at Shakha Zulu in Camden...anyone been before? Was also looking at Jamie's Italian in Covent Garden. He really likes Indian restaurants or a Greek one, but the ones I've seen so far don't look very nice. I want somewhere with an atmosphere and nice decor.

I highly recommend this: Hache in Camden.
I went with my mum who's a veggie (as they had great veggie and meat options). Delicious, I can't rate it enough, lovely decor, atmosphere too. http://www.hacheburgers.com/contact.php |

If he likes Indian, dishoom in convent garden is delicious, though not high end, but it's got a great vibe and good cocktails too. Masala zone, also in Covent garden, is equally delicious. Could also try ottolenghi's in islington, great vibe and mix of middle eastern type cuisine. Really great vibe, but again, needs a lot of advance booking so not sure you would get a table. Definately worth a try though. |

There's Zaika on Kensington High Street. I haven't been there but I know of people who have, and have only good things to say.

The Bombay Brasserie opposite Gloucester Road tube (Kensington and Chelsea) is great for upmarket Indian food, and the decor is cheesily fabulous.
