Today we find out who makes it to the viewer vote next week (at least that's when I think it is). I am hoping for Ben, Freddie and someone else.

I want the presenter who is capable of putting the magic back in the show to win.

I'm glad that Ben and Freddie are through, but I'm not sure about Lindsey.

They are making it complicated for viewers to vote, saying you have to make an 'ID' on the CBBC website.

Freddie was in a different league to the other two. I want him to win!

Either Freddie or Ben. Ben did come across as more confident during that challenge. But it's down to the viewers.

I do think they've complicated it when getting viewers to vote - you have to make a CBBC ID and vote from there. They could have done a poll on their website, or a phone vote.

Yes. I should be shallow and root for the cute redhead lass, but Freddie is an absolute natural.

They reveal the winner during Blue Peter today at 5:30pm.

I am hoping it is one of the boys.

The new Blue Peter presenter is... Lindsay.

Wasn't expecting that.

I thought Lindsey was the obvious choice from the reactions of the crowd in Leeds when the three names were read out and they cheered for each one.

Maybe the two males vote was split?

She was the worst out of the three. With Barney being rather random and a bit of a wimp the programme was crying out for a younger male presenter with energy and Freddie far outshone the other two. Bad move and let's hope in future the decision will revert to that of the editor's.

Quite possibly.

A kids presenter with a nose ring doesn't seem all that suitable to me. A lot of us made note of that many pages back.

I'm quite surprised Lindsey won, thought Freddie had it in the bag.

In previous weeks I've thought Lindsey spoke too fast, and when she was whizzing around London trying to find people to interview, it reminded of something that might have been seen on MTV in the late 90's (Geri Halliwell?) - and as people have said there's the nose ring issue.

It'd be interesting to see the voting statistics to see how much there was between the three.

Hopefully the other two will still get somewhere, and maybe Freddie might be reconsidered when Helen or Barney do eventually leave (hopefully not yet!)

Did Lindsey have her nose ring on today? I can't say I remember seeing it. If she did, it wasn't as prominent as in the promo image.

I've just checked, and I don't think it was there.

I wonder if they asked her to remove it? But, why would they in this final stage? Surely if they weren't happy with her wearing it, she would have taken it out at the start of the series?

Shame Freddie did not win. I think he would have been the best for the show. But good luck to Lindsey.

I think Freddie might get other work. He was very good. I can see the Beeb giving him something to do, rather than waste his potential.
