Three has restored data services to customer hit by a network outage across London, as it works to fix a fault.

Customers were hit by a broad outage this morning across the UK, with some consumers unable to access the internet. The operator is confident it should have the fault fixed today.

A spokesperson said: 'Some of our customers have had problems accessing the internet, we’re restoring those services right now.

No there is a thread asking about a possible outage.... not about the fact there has been one confirmed and what is being done about it.

Well, they can only be applauded for fixing it so quickly after something - which will inevitably happen to a mobile network at some time - went wrong.

At least it wasn't going on for over 12/18/24 hours, like some other network that will remain nameless...

Here we go again....... more silly nonsense about other outages not related to this one.

This has been posted to clearly let users know the issue was genuine and is being attended to.

Please desist from filling the thread with unrealated network comparison stuff.

Your the worst offender at going off topic and comparing other networks (see your "contributions" to recent Tesco customer service thread)

Don't forget the network who had the same crippling failure happen twice in the space of a couple of months preventing all services from working, not just data.

More completely unnecessary comment about historical events that every network suffers from time to time.

Please let this thread concentrate on informing 3 users about the status of thier service presently.

BTW If a 'dig' was intended it would have had a negative thread title.... think about it

Firstly, you're the king of the 'unnecessary comment', so let's not kid ourselves eh? Secondly, how are we meant to know whether or not Three has done a good job here unless we compare it to what has happened with other networks? For you to say we can't consider historical events is, frankly, absurd.

You can't be 'on the wind up' - I've no doubt you are, by the way - then you have to expect posters like me to wind you up in return. That's how this will work.

If the best that one can do is personalise issues best to use the ignore facility to avoid the temptation of filling threads with off topic material. Given the above explanation guess what my next forum action will be.

Pretty soon his ignore list (anyone who disagrees with him) will comprise of every forum member

We should give him a forum all to himself

This is what Wavejock sees when he logs into the Mobile Forums, with the occasional "I love O2" post. However that can't be right, because he keeps replying to people he's blocked! By rights he shouldn't see this as he says I'm on ignore!

I'm in London and still have a problem; albeit it came back on for an hour or so and now it's off again.

I had wondered what the forum would look like if you had set up an ignore list. (I don't ignore anyone even though by all rights Wavejock should be on it lol).

I suspect that if someone who is not on his lengthy ignore list were to quote me then my post would show up but im not sure

Oh please, for as long as i can remember wavejock posts on most threads to wind everyone up with his o2 lovefest. look carefully, the majority of his posts and threads take a little dig, and try to provoke a reaction. He can criticize all the other networks, but namely EE, however as soon as someone dares to state they have had issues with o2 he goes mental spouting inane facts like an o2 PR machine.

You.re not the only one that is fed up! My comment was out of frustration because i just knew what he would be up too!

And don't speak to me like that again! Many thanks
