Which albums would you compare them to?

BB1: Radiohead - Pablo Honey: Where it all began. Not bad at all, but a bit weird watching/listening, with how basic it is and knowing how much the band/series have evolved since.

BB2: Public Enemy - Yo! Bum Rush The Show: Decent, but compared to it's successor's a bit weak and dated. Has more of a light hearted, playful feel compared to what would follow as well.

BB3: Nirvana - Nevermind: It's what put it on the map and gained it popularity. Has as much aggression and volatility as it does humour, all of which comes in droves. Never a dull moment.

BB4: The Stone Roses - Second Coming: Not as bad as people say it is, but having an act to follow which is tough, and the fact it's not entirely gripping despite some great moments, people slam it as the worst ever. Could be better, but unfairly panned.

BB5: N.W.A. - Straight Outta Compton; The one which changed everything. Came out with the intention to shock and shake things up, and that it did. Aggressive and rather dark humoured, this has had many attempts at being replicated, none of which came close.

BB6: Manic Street Preachers - The Holy Bible: Has more of aggressive and dark feel than the others. Difficult at first but once you warm to it you truly appreciate it. Paranoid and both, in their own ways, show you just how ugly humanity can be.

BB7: The Smiths - The Queen Is Dead: A true crowning moment. One minute you're laughing, the next you're feeling sympathy. Every emotion possible is displayed here. A true masterpiece, with many twists and turns and changes in mood. Hard not to be hooked.

BB8: Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness: Starts off strongly but is a bit too long and sprawling and in the end you feel very tempted to just switch off.

BB9: Pulp - This Is Hardcore: An under appreciated classic. Difficult, uncomfortable and perhaps a bit too sprawling, but the finer moments of it are incredible. A bit of a dark feel to it, which makes it all the more exciting.

BB10: The Strokes - Room On Fire: One or two good moments but overall not that exciting. You know what to expect by now, and when it does happen you're not surprised at all, because you're just so used to it.

BB11: Happy Mondays - Yes, Please!: A complete mess.

BB12: R.E.M. - Accelerate: Not a classic by any means, but somewhat of a return to form, and overall a good solid effort.

BB13: The Libertines - The Libertines: The good moments are great but can be dull in parts, and is often marred by the tense, uncomfortable, hostile atmosphere you can feel.
