I don't trust anyone from BB until the day we see the Housemates ourselves. I'm glad they are coming out and saying this cause I'm tired of Wannabe's with Agents been on BB.

He isn't going to say that they are not that good, don't bother watching. Let's hope that it is an entertaining BB this time.

I think the term wannabe doesn't really make sense now because you don't go on Big Brother and get anything out of it now. So how could they be wannabes.

Anyway, I am hoping for a diverse range in terms of ages. A few old housemates, middle age housemates and then younger housemates.

You do get attention, you just don't get a career.

There wouldn't be so many models/actresses applying if they weren't wannabes. But I don't think it's a negative thing - Benedict and wildcard Anthony were massive wannabes but were colourful characters.

Benedict Garret? He never expected much out of it as he says on his podcasts. Although he has got his name out more and does more interviews on radio.

Many of BB housemates are as deluded as hell and probably still think they could become the next Jade Goody.

I doubt they believe that. They get told that won't happen. I suppose if you do well, you could get something out of it. But the days of becoming an over night star are gone.

Im not sure what to believe as ive seen so much hype over the years. Im sure ive heard about more older housemates maybe even last year and it was just two who get picked off quickly by the younger ones. Oh and the public...

I hope this is true, I mean this cookie cutter way of casting isnt working any more. There isnt a formula, what appeals is interesting people to watch.

That's not true, if i ever got the chance to go into BB i wouldn't be going in there looking for some career afterwards. There are some people that actually do go on it for the experience you know.

According to the linked article, Marcus said “I was told yesterday by a very important man on the BB team that the new housemates are the best he’s ever seen, no wannabes all originals.”

My heart sinks when I read "all originals". I suspect we'll get some of the most irritating, contrived, attention-seeking "personalities" ever.

It'll just be the usual selection of HM "types"

It's:

* the best House ever!

* the best Housemates ever!

* the same every year
