HMs who you thought were undeservedly disliked by people on here

Science - Could be a bit mouthy and childish, and can imagine he was annoying to live with, but his heart was in the right place and he was a good guy in a house full of nasty people. Maybe I'm biased because he's from five minutes away from where I live.

Ziggy - Had his faults but I thought he meant well in a house full of foul tempered people. Thought he had it a bit tough off Chantelle who wasn't an emotionally mature person.

Mohamed - Really nice guy but a lot of people hated him just because he ate a lot. He had it really bad in that house, with being spat on and then his best mate Rex turning against him, and I always wondered why he pissed so many off.

Anton - Was quite bitchy, yes, but good entertainment value and quite comical. Certainly not the most malicious housemate ever.

Luke A - Got made out to be one of the worst for bitchiness, but what he said about the others were what we were thinking. Really annoyed me when people twisted any commentary he made on the others to be him being a backstabber. He was one of the few in that house with his head screwed on.

I think Sunshine, Tania and I agree with you about Ziggy.

Tania I always taught was considered one of the better housemates from BB6 plus she always up there as one of the hottest BB Female housemates ever.

Sunshine was very much a Love/hate type of character. She splits opinion.

Ziggy was a bit of a prat.

Lydia.

She had trouble trusting Deana due to the nom, and was hated for it despite being the only outsider to try and gather the others together and fight. She was the only one who could see where the divide was going. The rest of them didn't get themselves sorted till long after Lydia left.

I liked her and Deana and it was a shame Deana nommed her day 1 as I think the two of them, if they'd trusted each other, would have been a force to be reckoned with. I don't blame Lydia one bit for not trusting Deana, after that nom, why on Earth should she have.

She was a big enough person to admit it after her eviction and IMO she had most of the HMs spot on.

Tanias my favourite BB4 housemate but I think she was undeservedly liked by people.

Agree about Lydia as well, she was my favourite from last year.

I'd suggest Sylvia from BB9. I think if she had made different friends in the house she might have been better liked, but instead she made poor choices in allies and ended up dragged down with the rest of them.

Though my memory on that year is nowhere near what it once was, I don't particularly recall Sylvia doing anything particularly bad, and in the pizza fiasco, I recall her being perhaps the only one of her group of friends to not completely lose their dignity and to stop things getting further out of hand.

I agree. I didn't like her when she was too busy trying to make Alexandra happy, but she seemed to finally snap out of that on the night of Chipgate. I remember her telling Alex about how she went too far by making Rachel cry, but this didn't make the highlights.

She also did pretty well during Spitgate. Too bad she acted like Dennis was wronged when he was ejected.

She had her moments where I was disappointed, but I definitely think she was the better of the WC.

Yes, this sums up my feelings too. I really liked Lydia. Thought it was a shame she didn't last longer.

I think every housemate is deserving of hatred (in a 'TV character' sense, not in a 'real life' sense).

There's a few fairly underrated ones who were pretty average who did seem to get a terrible time on here - Louise and Anthony stand out as ones who reviled despite never coming across as particularly bad people.

If anything, Mo isn't hated enough for his role in helping to ruin BB9 by surviving against all the big characters. He's the only pathetic housemate who was too pathetic to even root for in an ironic way.

Mo was the best housemate of BB9 and the housemates he survived against were the ones who ruined the series.

I really liked Mo. And the 'Mo to win Big Brother' thread throughout that series was a joy: we didn't really think he would win, but it was just a haven of good manners, charm and intelligence.

I'm pretty sure that a high percentage of the really nasty stuff directed at Luke was the same strange person with 4, 5 or even 6 keen forum accounts. I can now recognise this person's literary style at their first post.

In answer to the OP: Govan seemed perfectly all right to me: a bit of a gossip, but far from the worst person in that house; I never understood why he was treated so unpleasantly on here. Tom got a lot of the same: I once counted the number of times he was referred to as a 'little weasel' and it ran into hundreds. Again, he seemed all right to me: his main fault seemed to be that he once kicked a plant pot at St Aaron the Untouchable.

Of course my real answer is BB10 Lisa, who seemed perfectly ordinary to me, not a great housemate but generally kind to the others and quite well liked throughout the series, but there is a limit to how many times you can keep putting on the 'person saying something unhateful about Lisa' suit of armour.

She came across well during the actual event, but then let herself down the following day after the announcement of Dennis' removal, by crying hysterically, saying "I feel like I've been shot through the heart" and also saying that Mo had to be kicked out.

Norin for me.was pretty disliked on here when her only real offence was being very attractive.not her fault that she was basically stalked by shree and markus and most of the housemates were besotted by her

i tend to route for my faves and they are usually disliked by most people on here but it doesnt worry me i have my own opinions,

Noirin also, she did very little wrong considering how hated she was on here. I think people were sick of the airtime she got and the drawn out storylines rather than her as a person though..

Charlie Drummond he was a nice likeable lad, all his housemates loved him, he was classed as a bully on here the worst he did was make a daft joke by throwing water over angel on a hot day and not know she was dressed in her eviction outfit for which he apologised for over and over again

His mother was in a coma and the jokes about her were sick, I hope he never ever read this forum the moderators were despicable in allowing jokes about a terminally ill person makes me very sad even now thinking about it

I liked Mo - wouldn't say he was the best but certainly one of them. I thought he had a rough ride from some of the others.

I don't think Mohamed was that disliked on here. From checking the results of cheeks' poll last year, he was ranked at 85: http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showp...&postcount=880

But he was certainly disliked A LOT by the Whisper Club. And I think a lot of this dislike was really unfair. After Dennis had been removed, Jen said, "Let's hope justice is served and that Mohamed goes", as if it was his fault for Dennis spitting in his face. And when he survived against Bex, the rest of the Whisper Club were very bitter about it. Rex asked them, "What's so wrong with Mo?", and they replied, "Everything." Yes, Mo ate and slept more than most others in the house, but I don't really see what he did that was so bad. He was used as a scapegoat for a lot of things in there.

Me too and I wonder how he gets away with creating new accounts when he gets banned.

yes, I agree with all of that. He was a vain person, but there are far worse things than being vain. And the reaction to Angel having water thrown at her was massively over the top. You would have thought he had thrown acid at her. And his Nana act was not particularly witty, but he was attempting to create a bit of entertainment in a house where there is often literally nothing to do. It's not as if we were forced to sit through it: it was never shown on the highlights, so you actively had to click on a link to watch it at all.

I don't think Jay was much worse than Anton. He has been accused by his peers of nothing worse than taking moodily to his bed every time the food ran short. I never really minded Anton either. He tried to play a fiendishly difficult game - I don't think anyone has ever really pulled that kind of thing off - and failed; but he didn't really seem to cause distress to the others: a lot of the time they found him funny.

I think Cameron's dislike on here is undeserved. I've just finished rewatching BB4, (yes, I am a confirmed BB4 fan and I'm not ashamed to admit it), and to me, he still comes across as a really lovely gentleman. IMO, I think the dislike for him stems from the fact that he beat Jon in an eviction. It wasn't his fault that he got less votes to evict than Jon did.
