Billi and Charley was great.

I know it is the lowest possible praise, but he is a bit better than Kenneth, who, in the pursuit of fame of any kind, is prepared to be utterly vile.

Shabnam was one of many, it's just that she was the only one so brutally honest about it

There are so many but the OPs has asked us who we consider the worst, tough call eh however for me it's fun Charlie, he must have been devasted when he found out that 'Nana' didn't make it to the screen. Can't think of anyone or anything more contrived.

He had the sob story that a family member was seriously ill but he kept mentioning at every time he could.

She recorded a single. It did nothing. I don't think there was much else.

He didn't arrange for his mother to have a major brain injury to get votes in BB. I think he had probably had a pretty crap couple of years, don't you? And he really didn't mention it much at all. I can remember about two occasions when he suggested that his mother would be proud of him, or that he would like to have money to spend on her, that is all.

Shabnam was in the diary room and asked to leave (the house) but asked big brother "if I walk will I still get magazine deals?"

Chanelle for sure

As well as Shabnam *shudder*, Chanelle et al, I'd add Bex & Becky.

I'm not sure about CBB, does that really count? They are all wannabes or wannacomebacks.

Oh and let's not forget Sezer, any numpty that enters saying "Sezer's palace" to the cameras deserves extra wannabe points.

I'm not sure that he was though. (Arrogant, yes). He does seem to have been one of the few housemates who genuinely did see a big future for himself regardless of BB, and to have gone on to achieve it.

O_o, are we going to get deep into the nature of what makes a wannabe? I think you're right in that he had big ideas for himself, but I also think that he saw BB as a stepping stone, and doesn't that make him a wannabe?

I need a definition.

For example, no one has touched my suggestion of Angel, though I think in the sense of fame hungry she was a MASSIVE wannabe. But there may be other factors involved that remove her from peoples' lists.

I'm with you, we need a proper definition.

For me it would not necessarily be the most obvious, although I did put Becky on my list. It would also include those that had delusions of how great they would be after appearing (like Craig BB6 and his talkshow), that doesn't automatically mean being over the top.

Charley definitely comes to mind then. She jeered at Chanelle's downmarket tv series (can't remember what it was - some cable music programme I think?) and said that she was waiting for a really good offer. And waiting. And waiting.

Yep, but I had to limit myself, as my list would've gone on for pages.

Susie from bb7 certainly comes to mind. She even said she was there only for the exposure. I think she's one of the worst offenders, really.

Yes, that's always been a problem.

In all the discussions of whether wannabes ruin BB, or whatever, I don't think I've ever seen anyone give a reasonable definition of wannabe and then look at all the HMs to see whether the wannabes tend to be worse.

(It won't do to look only at the wannabes, because that won't show wannabes are worse than non-wannabes.)

It seems possible to label almost every HM a wannabe in one way or another.
