And, without meaning to talk down her cake business (there's nothing wrong with that), that in itself is hardly the kind of business venture Sugar is going to invest in. (I assume she has something bigger than that as a plan, in fairness, but I don't think you can use her current businesses as a yardstick of how successful she would be with a £250k investment. It's all about the plan.)

I don't think she deserved to be in the boardroom, but she is rude and doesn't think before she speaks. When she said 'ooh its because of my looks' I was like wtf, no its not Luisa its because your rude.
Have a feeling she'll last long because of her successful business, look at Tom and Susan from the previous years they were not the best candidates but already set up their business or in Toms case product.

It's a one day task, not a real, on-going bakery business, they don't have time to go looking for industry standard piping tips. The others had no good ideas so she usefully made a suggestion, one which far bettered both of Rebecca's, one of which arguably lost them the task. If she hadn't made the (by the standards of those given, good) suggestion, you'd be arguing she didn't contribute, she's damned if she does, she's damned if she doesn't on here. Leah didn't have to take her up on it, she did because it was the best idea they had, it made vague sense, it filled time and was cost effective, and it probably saved her (imo, very lucky) neck, it was the only part of the day that wasn't a complete shambles.

A plan doesn't execute itself. Being provably able to successfully start, manage and run a business is the most important quality they're going to need, this is a hands off investment, that is what they'll be required to do. Most of them work for others.

That's why I said if the results are going to be like that, then they shouldn't have gone for the cupcake thing in the first place. It was just the idea Louisa had to include in the program instead of the chocolates. But in order to save money, they ended up doing something pointless and botchy. And yeah, if she didnt do a suggestion of course I would argue that she didn't contribute, because it would be true. I mean, is it so difficult to come with a good idea?

It saved them one thousand pounds and was the best idea any in the team (arguably, in the task as a whole. the army idea pinned their day on relied foolishly on there being good British weather in October) had, also it wasn't entirely pointless, far less so than the wine tasting, there was arguably *some* relevance to it, it encouraged them to be creative and work as a team, both key skills in business, which is the only relevance the army day had. If the only real criticism you have of her is that she could have used a 1M pipe nozzle, she did alright.

Natalie didn't win as PM as far as I remember. She was there with Uzma and Sophie in flat pack furniture episode. She was there with Zee 2nd time last week.

It's called support. I don't care much for her personality but I recognise her business skills. If someone slagged off the contestant you like no doubt you would speak in their defence? Every series has to have someone like Luisa, yes, she's an attention seeker who's getting attention and I wouldn't want to go out for a drink with her, but hey

That's not the point I was making, though. We don't know that Luisa's business is successful - we only have her word for it, and candidates tend to exaggerate somewhat. Equally, we don't know exactly what her business plan is and whether it's credible. It may be - I don't know one way or another - but without detailed knowledge of their backgrounds and their plans, we can't really say how credible they are as candidates and their plans based solely on their say-so.

The activities should have been related to the skills the client wanted to develop. I have no doubt the chocolate task would have been skilfully led by the professional to include opportunities to practice these skills. I also doubt the cupcake task would have achieved this. Money could have been saved by not using the feathers and flamingo and if the content of the day had been better the client would not have demanded so much money back. In the end the task was partly about providing a great day, not just saving money. Louisa's behaviour towards the chocolate lady was risible; the choc lady had to bite her tongue didn't she...

How successful are they, if she needs a £250,00 investment, and can only get it be appearing on the Apprentice. Like the Dragons would say, why don't you put your own money up.

You make some good points. I think it was clear that Luisa's cupcake class was more of an individual activity, whereas I could see from what the chocolatier said that her activity was likely to involve more of a collaborative effort and be better at meeting the desired objectives.

Luisa deserves some credit for saving a big chunk of money and for being brave enough to do it herself, but at the same time there was an element of Kurt and his shakes about it in that she saw it as an opportunity to show off some of her existing business skills within a task.

I love'd the way Jordan kept smirking every time the other team was criticised, that soon backfired on him when they lost!!

I think she would be a maniac in the bedroom.

She is attractive of a type, the obvious in your face type and she has definitely cultivated the baby doll way of speaking - I'm sure she gets a lot of things her way because of that voice.

She treats people badly, like the chocolatier woman - karma will get her at some point.

They could have saved even more and get some sticks to clean dog poo from the street, is that a good idea? (First thing that came to my mind) If she used a proper nozzle then the results would have been at least better, because the cupcakes would have looked professional. That people is paying 5 grand to do that you cannot just given them disposable junk.

You make a great point about her voice. Her voice is soft and sweet. As a guy I find it attractive, but if you forget about her voice and look at her personality she is ruthless and tough. She's got all the classic Apprentice attributes in spades! Ruthless, very driven, couldn't care less about others, will do anything to win. Yep, the perfect candidate.

And if she gets fired she may make Apprentice history by being the first contestant to say "I was fired because I'm too good looking" or some other silly thing like that. I hope she says that. People will dislike her even more!
