Actually, she's only been brought back in to the final boardroom once. And she's been PM once - and won.I do agree that she needs to be less petulant. Fiery is fine, but not to the point where you come across as a brat. I know plenty of successful people who speak before they think, but they tend to be right most of the time and have enough of a track record to be credible. Luisa is neither yet.
EDIT: Oops, sorry. Didn't see this had already been replied to. My bad. She really is coming across as very dislikeable - rude, bitchy, vain and abrasive. Even Karen looked like she wanted to bash her around the head last night. |

You make a great point about her voice. Her voice is soft and sweet. As a guy I find it attractive, but if you forget about her voice and look at her personality she is ruthless and tough. She's got all the classic Apprentice attributes in spades! Ruthless, very driven, couldn't care less about others, will do anything to win. Yep, the perfect candidate.
![]() And if she gets fired she may make Apprentice history by being the first contestant to say "I was fired because I'm too good looking" or some other silly thing like that. I hope she says that. People will dislike her even more! She's a sexual harrassment case waiting to happen. The whole "anti-corporate" rant was a mistake if you are trying to get investment from the corporate world. She's a silly young girl who has nice breasts and a decent looking face. Once her looks and youth fade away she will start having problems in business. Oh, and stop stooping/hunching love. You will hurt your back like that. |

They could have saved even more and get some sticks to clean dog poo from the street, is that a good idea? (First thing that came to my mind)

If she used a proper nozzle then the results would have been at least better, because the cupcakes would have looked professional. That people is paying 5 grand to do that you cannot just given them disposable junk.
It's all very well saying that with hindsight from your sofa, but on task they don't have the time or, under pressure to just get it done, the inclination. to go seeking out industry standard piping tips that you, someone who works in the industry, incorrectly named, for one day's amateur use. It's not a valid enough criticism to place any blame on her, it's bizarre micro-nitpicking that even Lord Sugar would frown and laugh at.

Ha ha, I just KNEW that DS would be full of outraged comments re Luisa today, especially after she had the gall to comment on her own looks and for saying she works better with men than women!
She's no way near as bad as a lot of people on here make out but she certainly didn't do herself any favours last night. Despite how obvious it all is, well to us good DS viewers anyway- the baby doll voice and the preference for working with men whilst flattering her eyelashes etc.. the sad reality is that clearly this approach doesn't do her too much harm either in the show or real life. I for one hope she stays in and makes the last 4- as a TV character she is great- the vitriol she stirs up on this place alone must have the TV execs rubbing their hands in glee!! |

Lord Sugar made it perfectly clear at the time that he wasn't giving her any credit whatsoever for the win and she'd been very lucky with a couple of her teamates.

This part of the discussion was about Luisa rather than Leah - agree with your comments about the latter.
All of my comments referred to Luisa. |

And to baselessly write off her external achievements as down to flattering her eyelashes at men is at best down right insulting and at worst down right sexist. Has this place always been so laughably bitter and spiteful? |

This is exactly why she is still in. I don't think its "vitriol", just slight amazement that her act isn't completely obvious to those around her. TBF, most of the guys around her probably aren't using their heads to think with.
To be fair, as I say she hasn't really done anything to change this perception with how she comes accross- in fact she's just added to it. I think she's actually pretty good at what she does, and is a master manipulator, especially with the guys. Natalie also seems to be under her spell to an extent. I was a bit gutted Rebecca went as I think she saw though her from the off and I wanted to see them kick off. Luisa actually reminds me of a girl I used to work with who used her sexuality/ played off her looks ALL the time. Like Luisa, she was always happier working with men rather than women. Even though I saw through it, it used to amaze me how many guys (usually bright and sensible chaps at that), were wrapped round her little finger. She did the 'baby doll voice' and 'Puss in Boots from Shrek' eyes also! I would hate to work with Luisa, but for TV entertainment, she's gold. |

If you're going to accuse me of these things, at least have the decency to get the gist of what I'm saying first before wading in with your clumsy accusations.

Hmm, yeah maybe viriol was a tad OTT, but you know what I mean! People were lining up to have a go at her even before the series started having seen some of the tabloid 'saucy snaps'.

The whole "I work better with men" and "I'm too pretty" made everyone here literally LOL. I've known plenty of young girls who have acted like that in the first years of their career. Only gets you so far before time catches up on you. Or the wives.
Personally I don't think she is that pretty. She thinks she is ... but she is not. She come across as a nasty, ugly , talent less Katie Price Wannabe. She has no ideas of her own. Waits for the other to attack and then puts in the knife in and twists. FIRE THE BITCH. |

Karen did a good job last night. |

Or they can look past their prejudices to see she's actually a decent candidate? Nope, clearly they're the ones deluded, they've only worked with her, you're users of an angry internet forum, and when were they ever deluded?
I also don't know why you've chosen to single my posts out? Odd, given the overwhelming negativity towards her certainly hasn't come from me. I've actually been a supporter of hers in the face of the haterz (yes, I'm spelling this with a z) in recent weeks. I have actually been one of the rare ones giving her some credit where others have given none. Having said that, i am perfectly entitled to play Devil's Advocate and as a result can call it how I see it from week to week. I believe she has many qualities that make her an asset in certain ways and have stated this in the past. Perhaps you and I should combine our forces and start up the Luisa fan club instead...? Either that or perhaps you should take the time to actually read some of the posts on here properly and then make a judgement on who is being fair or unfair to her, and address those people instead. Just a friendly suggestion.

simply wouldn't be suggested if she was a flirty male.
I have said before that the double standards on DS are quite frankly outrageous. I actually think we are coming from the same (or at least similar) places on this topic my good man. When I talk about Luisa using her sexuality, I believe this is 100% the case. It's probably more a sleight on those that can be influenced/ swayed by her, than a slight on Luisa. |

The only time I've seen her do it, was the time all the girls did it, in Dubai, negotiating with an undecided customer which pretty much every attractive candidate to pass through that boardroom, male and female, has done at some point, she doesn't do it with Lord Sugar and doesn't do it with the team and it has nothing to do with her success in the process as many here like to suggest. If you meant the same I apologise, it was ambiguous and on a forum like this that is bitter to the point of being genuinely unpleasant, the natural assumption to make is that it's more of the same. Especially given that this is a showbiz site and the types that that attracts.
Me saying she uses her sexuality doesn't mean I think it is wrong 100% of the time, OR that she does it all the time, OR that this has been a factor in her success in business up to now. She largely get's zero credit on here, and despite having many qualities that I can see and admire, these will get overlooked by most of DS due to how she has been shown on tv, and her appearance. I see people (both male and female) do this all the time and yet it's usually women who get the rough end of the stick. IMO there is a glaring lack of perspective/ equality at times on DS. |

Not remotely comparable, as I said and as you conveniently ignored, though not the most engaging activity ever it is relatable back to business, the wine tasting was not and completely at odds with the theme. But let's not that get in the way of a good baseless bash.

Any woman who says they "prefer men to women" is an asshole. She's probably been an asshole since the day she was born.
I'm sure I could come up with other reasons, but I've never had any of the accusations leveled at me that I've read here being leveled at Luisa, never had anyone's wife or partner have a go at me because I happen to work with their husband/partner (which, as a tutor in a F.E. college, I do every day), just as they've never had anyone have a go at them because they happen to work with me. So clearly Luisa and I must be different in some important respects! Therefore, how can all girls who say they prefer to/do get on better with boys/men than other women all be 'assholes', to quote your charming phrase? My eldest daughter, at the age of 18, is exactly like I was at her age - lots of friends who are boys, no interest in clothes, shoes ofr fashion (although she does like chocolate!) but has never had an actual boyfriend and doesn't want one yet. When she got her little Saturday job at the local library she was thrilled because all the other teenagers taken on were boys because she felt relieved (yes, relieved) that she wouldn't have to talk about the 'girly' stuff on their breaks! Does that make my daughter an 'asshole' too? Or the men who of this world who are truthful enough to admit that they get on better with women than men? If you don't like Luisa, fine, but please don't tar us all with the same brush, and don't make sweeping generalisations that have no basis in fact! |

I dont think we are talking about the same thing. I cannot call a M1 a industry standard piping tip when it's not one. In fact, it is for personal use. It is the most basic piping nozzle you can get for cupcake decorating, very affordable and easy to find, and the results are amazing. It would've taken her the same effort to find the nearest Wilkinsons instead of the nearest Home Bargains to buy the disposable ones. And about the price well... for the same price you can get one for every 4 persons. It's not that hard as you try to paint it.
